Raya 2017
Alhamdulillah.
Another year to celebrate the success of a month of fasting with my family.
This year was a bit more special because I get to wear something special. Something I have been eyeing every time Raya comes. My forever wish was granted. And I never thought I would get to wear it. Ever.
The main reason was I would feel guilty spending that much for a dress. A dress that I may wear it only once in a lifetime. Not because it isn't pretty. But the opposite of it. Totally breathtaking until you will be shy to wear it elsewhere. Little did I know that Allah had better plans for me.
Every year my in laws will have a colored theme for Raya. And usually I resist on tempah baju since I had a LOT of bad experience with tailors. I prefer to buy RTW (ready to wear). And because RTW is more stylish. Tailors will charge extra with every little change. Back to the color theme, this time the color is quite rare and I searched high n low for a match. But it was useless until... my forever dream brand launched it. Exactly. the. SAME. I am dying.
So it became a great excuse for Hubby to approve since we do not want to upset my mother in law aka his mother (maybe I should use this reason again next year? Haha).
So here goes my Raya dress for 2017...

Me time
What I did at the night before Ramadhan?
Luckily my kids went to sleep early.
Usually they do sleep early.
And usually I will TER sleep before them!
So you could imagine how precious me-time was for me.
And I choose to spend it eating a piece of Caramel Chocolate Cake made by The Spot Cake while watching Meletop.
Heaven.
But it lasted a while because I had to join the kids later on.
Since I do not want to miss the 1st sahur.
And silently wishing I wake up and everything is ready by itself for sahur (not gonna happen farah!). Hahahaha...
Well gotta sleep now,
