Owatonna Water Park Outing

It appears I didn't get many pictures of our fun adventure to Owatonna. We wanted to have a little anniversary getaway but its just hard with kids so we decided a family trip to a water park and Cabela's was a better idea. We stayed at a Holiday Inn right next to Cabela's that had an awesome water park attached to it. We also stumbled on an amazing little ice cream place called, "Blast". The cookie dough was awesome! We went there both days we were there. :)

Talya LOVED this water slide. She got to where she was wanting to go down it backwards and with her hands up!

Ty guy loves the water!

Transportation Fair

We get to do some pretty fun things here in Rochester, Minnesota. Today we went to the Transportation Fair at a park with friends and saw all kinds of "Transportation" vehicles, from tractors to buses, and garbage trucks to race cars. The kids had a great time... And yes, we are still wearing our winter coats in May this year. :(  Summer will come eventually, I hope!

Ty @ 7 months

Our sweet little Ty Guy is already 7 months old. I can't believe how quickly the past several months have gone by. I keep thinking he is so little and a "newborn" but he is anything from that! Because we were away for his 4 month check-up, we saw the doctor at 5 months and then had to wait 2 months before he could get more shots. We just saw the doctor yesterday for his "6 month" checkup but he's actually 7 months. He weighs in at 20 pounds and he is 28 inches tall. He seems so much bigger than other babies but that is the 87% for weight and 75% for height.

He still just has that one same tooth he got right before turning 6 months old. I have been thinking the other bottom tooth is close to coming in, but it hasn't yet. He is all or none when it comes to smiling, and it is usually all. He is so happy. Even the doctor mentioned in the short time he was in the room that it seems he has a good temperament. Ty is a great baby. So happy and he loves his Momma! Whenever I walk out of the room he knows it, and lets me know it. He is also pretty fond of his sister and Daddy too.

He has started eating solid foods. He loves everything about eating, except for baby food meat. Gross! Just the smell makes me grossed out too. He gags every time I try to give it to him. I have gotten him to eat a little of it after I mixed it with a vegetable and cereal. He is still nursing and sleeping much better than after our long trip. He falls asleep on his own, as compared to falling asleep while nursing. He has two naps during the day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. He still wakes up during the night once and eats. He'll usually go about 7-8 hours, eats and then sleeps another 3-4 hours. I wished he slept all through the night but that is something we can work on when I am not feeling so lazy. It is just so much easier to quickly feed him when he wakes up and then we can both go back to sleep sooner.

He can roll both directions but prefers to only roll to his left. Weird! He is sitting up alone but still has an occasional fall every now and then.

I love being their Mom!

Loves going on bike rides in the trailer..
