Claire loves to sneak food without permission. Recently she has developed a love for peanut butter. If I forget to lock the pantry, she grabs the peanut butter & hides behind the island or under the kitchen table. She must take after her older brother.
Last Tuesday I was changing Matthew's diaper when I heard Claire run into the bathroom & say, "I wash mine hands Mommy." I told her, "Claire, you should probably go pee-pee in the potty while you're in there, you haven't done that for a while." When I finished changing Matthew, I came to the bathroom to find Claire in this exact position. She did take my advice about going pee-pee, but she forgot to go to the toilet. She just stayed like that, with one leg up on the counter & peed right down her leg! Her sandal was soaked and so was the stool. When I picked up the stool to wipe it off, I found that there was such a big puddle under it that it had even soaked through the rug & onto the tile! So I got to wash the bathroom rugs and mop the floor! So fun to add extra jobs to my list!
Today while I was feeding Matthew, Tyler yelled, "Mommy Claire is getting into your make-up!" I set Matthew down & hurried to my bathroom where I found Miss Claire playing with lipstick. Doesn't she look pretty?
Thank goodness the lipstick she destroyed was one from a Clinique free gift that's been in my drawer for years. Now that she's made such a mess of it, I think it will most definitely be thrown out.
Oh Claire, what am I going to do with you?
