Annual HK Christmas Walk

Ever since our first Christmas in Hong Kong, we have made it an annual tradition to venture through several of the major malls on Hong Kong Island to view the Christmas trees and decorations.  Yesterday we toured around with our friends, the Roberts.

Instead of posting pictures in the order of our route, I’m going to post them in the order of how well I liked them—from least to best.  I’ll start with a grouping of the small displays then move onto the large displays.

Jade’s Christmas Program

Friday was Jade’s school Christmas program.  Dress code was red and/or green, with girls in dresses.  That meant I had to get Jade’s Christmas skirt sewn a week early!  She wanted it big and poufy!  I asked her what length, she told me to the floor, but we compromised at the ankles, so she wouldn’t trip over it.

Jade was excited to see her school BFFs outside of school: Liam, Luvella, and Remi.  Liam’s tree outfit is a killer!  Love it.

Ridge thought the Christmas hats the teachers gave to all the kids were pretty fun!

Here is a long strand of clips from the performance especially for the grandmas to enjoy.  :)  Sorry for the poor videography and video editing!
