I had my MRI this week. They said that the meniscus should heal on its own, but I'm going to need surgery for my torn ACL. The soonest they could get me in is on July 21st. Looks like I get to keep driving my mom's minivan for awhile!
While playing ultimate at the park last night, I landed on my knee and heard, "Pop! Pop!" I went to Instacare today, and they told me to come back in a week to see if there's any progress on healing. They think it might be a torn ligament. If it doesn't heal on its own, I may need surgery or something.
It's not all bad, though. Because I can't use both legs to drive my stick shift vehicle, I get to borrow my mom's sweet ride... automatic mini van, baby!
