I can't believe how much my cute little man has grown up this past year! It is crazy to think

too bad once the lights went out my phone just did not get good pics.. so no pics of Taylor which is kind of sad but oh well.

Today was Grady's first day of school!
Here he is before school!

Grady goes from 9am to 11am. So right after sydney left for school at 7:45am I woke him up and he was tired, but excited to go. He and Kobe had a bath (in Kobe's little bathtub together) then he got dressed, ate breakfast and put his backpack on and was ready to go... He was so excited and happy until I tried to take a picture of him outside. He got so mad. He said he wanted to take one by his teacher's house. But I knew it probably wouldn't happen if I waited! We got there and he was quite and kind of shy and of course would not look to take a pic. I went inside with him for a few minutes since it was just him and one other boy there so far. He had fun playing with the little colored bears and grouped them in colors. I left. Then later I picked him up. Waited in the car til he came out with his teacher, Mrs. Carter. I could see that he loved it. He was so smiley and just happy! I even was able to get a picture of him with his teacher! And in the car on our way home he told me about what he did and what he got from his teacher and how he couldn't wait to show and tell sydney his red bag! It was cute! He is getting too big. Here is what Grady said on our way home from school in his words! He was just so excited as he was telling me " My teacher teached me how to play musical chairs!" and "She gave me this red bag with candy and a basketball pencil in it!!" and "my teacher has a big playground in her backyard" he was and is just so stinking cute I love my Grady boy!

Kobe turned 6 months on wednesday. I can not believe how fast it goes by! He is such a cute, fun big guy! So smiley! He just smiles at everyone he sees. He is starting to want only mommy now which is cute, but not at the same time! So I hope that does not last too long! He is still a good eater! He wants whatever we are having and always seems to want food. I took him and Grady to his dr apt today and he did great. She said he is doing good in everything and that he can now start eating table foods and pretty much anything but honey. He can now have ice cream! He has alreaady had it a few times when we'd get ice cream in our area. We just felt so bad to eat it in front of him when he wanted it so bad. HE LOVES ICE CREAM! So we decided we'd go celebrate his 6 mos birthday and go to Simply Ice Cream when Cole got home! We got him his very own kiddy cone! that didn't last long at all! Soon he was screaming for more. So I shared mine and he attacked it! It was fun, but crazy cuz he get too upset when it is gone. We wont be doing that very often that's for sure!My sister Katie is always asking how big my other kids were at this age. It is kind of fun to compare and of course I don't remeber how much they weighed so I had search for their well check up papers from 6 mos. I could not find Sydney's six mos one ( kind of sad) but oh well all I know is she was definately smaller than both Kobe and Grady at six mos!

So far other than Kobe's cute little head he is bigger. We'll see if it last these next six months! Syd was 16 lbs at a yr and Grady was 18.9 lbs at a yr!

My Cute Sydney started First Grade today! She was so excited to be in 1st grade and be at school all day, ride her bike to school with friends, eat lunch at school, and have more recess! When she got home from school I asked her what her favorite part of the day was. Here is what she said:
1- carrying the big box of lunch boxes back to her classroom after lunch.
2-talking and playing with Trevor
3-practice going to lunch, then went back to class and then @ 11am it was lunch time so went back to the lunchroom. (she thought it was funny they kept going back and forth until it really was time to go!)
4- colored a picture of a butterfly and she already forgot to bring it home.. silly girl!
I think she had a fun day and is very excited to be back in school and all day now!

All of my family went camping at bear lake for my dad's birthday friday the 22nd til monday the 25th! it was lots of fun! It was my first time going to Bear Lake and Kobe's FIRST time going camping.. He did very good. He loves to be outside. he also loves water. The only somewhat hard think with Kobe was he started to just take a few very short naps during the day. Kind of hard to take a nap being outside all day long. I guess I could have taken him to the trailer, but we were always at the lake which was right by camp, but still. Sydney and Grady loved being ther. they loved the water, made new friends everyday and also got to ride their bikes around too. Sydney loved grandpa's kayak he got for the kids. And she is lucky she is the only kid right now that can really use it. She was on it pretty much all day the first day. She is now a pro! Grady did go on the wave runner a few times with daddy and Syd did once I think.. I finally on monday decided I better go on the wave runner and go around the lake once or I'd probably regret it after we left. It was fun I just am not a huge water person. So I went once! Everyone seemed to love the kayaks! there was a fun little "jungle river" we would go to. But when it was time to go we had a vry hard time leaving.. It was just not quite long enough for us. It was a fun trip!

Eagle Mountain now has a little Splash Park so we went there 2 days in a row! First day was with our friend Leslie and her kids, but I did not get pics. so sad. and then the next day Katie and Kael came and met us there! It was fun and I was a little more prepaired to have shade for Kobe! which Kobe LOVED it.. He loves water and was having lots of fun sitting on the grass playing with his toys and the umbrella!!

My cute baby Kobe is 5 months old! I can not believe how big he is getting! He is such a happy little boy. He gets so so excited when he sees or gets to play with his big sister Sydney. He loves Grady too, but Grady ends up being a little more rough with him or is trying to non-stop grab his ears. Poor Kobe is going to have big ears thanks to his big brother always grabbing and holding them. but Grady is a good big brother too. He just needs little reminders that Kobe is still little and does not want him to pull on his ears... But anways, Kobe LOVES babyfood. he is a messy eater and never sits still, but he wants food all the time. I was slacking a little when we first started, but he wont let me slack now. He always lets me know he wants food! Kobe loves to play with his toys and he is getting better at sitting up by himself everyday! He is such a fun little guy! we are so lucky to have him! We love him so so much!!
