Aloha Baby Shower

Auntie M threw mom and me a fabulous Hawaiian baby shower, complete with pineapples and coconuts and everything!!! I think it was a great way to welcome cute little me to the world.
And there's my first nickname: Aloha Aycox. It has a nice ring to it, huh!
The shower was a grat party with fun games like baby food tasting and multitasking mom relay!

Auntie M had one more surprise up her sleeve, a poem for Mom and Dad titled, "One Night in Hawaii."

One Night in Hawaii
(by Auntie M)
One night in Hawaii, when all through their vacation house…
Something was stirring, but it wasn’t a Hawaiian mouse.
Then a month later, when she didn’t feel so good…
She realized something hadn’t come when it should.
She jumped out of bed in a wild panic…
With Steve nothing short of completely frantic.
They went to a store where they couldn’t be found…
And bought pregnancy tests by box and by pound.
A few minutes later and at least a gallon of pee…
They held their breaths thinking it just couldn’t be.
Then what to their wondering eyes showed up there…
But an army of plus signs in all those tiny squares.
But after the worry stopped boggling the imagination…
They realized it would be the very best part of their vacation.
And that’s really good, cause there’s no stallin’…
In just a few more weeks, there’s going to be a little Colin!

A Baby Shower

Here's a few pictures of my baby shower thrown by wonderful church friends. Can you believe they're having so much fun even though the guest of honor has yet to arrive???

Mom and Auntie M... yeah, they love me!
This is Mom with Cortney, one of the shower hostesses and also one of Mom and Dad's very best friends.

Here's Mom with shower hostesses Jennifer, Christy, Shelly and Linda.

Aloha Aycox

Even though I haven't arrived yet, my mom really wants to introduce me to the world. So, here I am, only 8 weeks old and still livin' the good life. This is the first time my mama and daddy saw their Hawaiian souvenir. (More explanation to come later!)
