New Year's Eve

It was time to take Grandma Mockit (aka Margaret) to OKC to catch her plane back home, but we went by Bass Pro Shop first to see the big ol' fish. We had lots of fun exploring. I even got a coonskin hat. Don't worry, no racoons were harmed in the making of this hat! Then we were off to the hotel for a swim in the pool. It was chilly in the heated indoor pool, so we didn't stay gone long. My lips were purple, but I definitely didn't want to leave. Can you say total melt down? My mom was appalled. After that, I partied in the room for a while...but I didn't make stay up 'til 2011. (Mom and Dad didn't either.)

Christmas Morning

Hooray! It finally came. The day Mama had been talking about since Thanksgiving: Christmas Morning. Some of us were quite sleepy, but I was ready to open presents! I must have been at least half-way decent this year because Santa brought me lots of fun stuff like a chalk board art center, a train set, a remote control car. The list goes on and on. I must have been quite good, actually.

It was Char's first Christmas, so I had to help her a little.

Me hanging out playing with my new engine, Rosie. She's my favorite. Don't get me wrong, I like Thomas, but Rosie holds a special place at the station.

We had so much fun on Christmas morning. It lasted over 3 hours you know!

Christmas Eve

It is a Reid tradition to open one present on Christmas Eve. As Mama remembers, kids get Christmas pajamas. I'm glad grandkids get a whole sack full of stuff, including Christmas pajamas!I really liked my pillow pet, Tardy Turtle. I just had to run and jump on him!I had to look at Grandma's camera and check and see how cute I was in my Christmas PJ's. Here I am kissing Charlotte. Hey, where's the mistletoe? Aren't we cute sitting on our wintry penguin blankets Grandma made for us?

Grandpa read me my new, favorite book: The Poky Little Puppy. It's a good read, especially when read by a great storyteller like Grandpa.

Too bad Daddy was called in to work. Too bad he missed the fun!

Nope, Still Don't Like the S Claus!

I think these pictures say it all!

I do like the presents, though.

Pomp and Circumstance

Congratulations to Auntie M on completing your master's degree in Professional Writing. I have an idea for a new book: Colin Steve, Greatest Nephew Ever. Marketable? I think so... Auntie M and Uncle John in front of the Seal of the University of Oklahoma.
The whole gang came out to cheer her on: Grandma, Me and Mama, Grandpa, Uncle John and Charlotte, Aunt Nikki, Karen and Gary Goins. Aunt Molly and Cousin were also there somewhere (we saw them later.)

If you think I look good in a mortar board now, just give me another 20 years or so!

Ten years ago December, Mama nad Daddy stood in front of this seal for Daddy's graduation from engineering school. What a great way to celebrate a special anniversary!

Pre-Pomp and Circumstance

Grandpa had to take all the luggage so I hitched a ride. Whee!!!Looks like Grandpa has his hands full. Good thing Mama was standing behind the camera!
Mama tried to make me jealous by taking Charlotte's picture. I sooo didn't care. She's cute and was a wonderful child on Aunt M's graduation day. Too bad I can't say the same for myself. Hmmm... terrible twos here I come!!!Aunt M and her friends from graduate school: Aubrey and Jocelyn. They are all MPW grads. Congrats, ladies!

Char is 7 Months Old!

I do not like having my picture taken! I hate it in fact!!! Good thing Char is so sweet! She was 7 months old the night before Aunt M's graduation and had her picture taken under the hotel tree. I wuv Char!

My New Booster

I will no longer sit in my high chair. It is for babies. Charlotte sat in it and it is my seat no more! I sit only in big boy seats now. Mom knew she kept this pharmacy school book for a reason. This is a great way to recycle a $200 textbook. It's a perfect booster seat!

The Lights at Rhema

The lights at Rhema Bible College are just beautiful!!! It was a warmer than usual evening in December, so we started in coats and stripped down as we went along. I didn't want to take off my shark hat, though.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

I was a great helper in decorating the tree - a jolly, little elf! I really enjoyed hanging the ornaments high upon the tree. Good thing Mom and Dad were there to help me.

I hung ornaments on the tree and also stuck toys in the tree. No matter what I put in the tree, Mama found it. She grinched my decorating every time!
