Blessing Day!

We had Alan blessed on the first Sunday in July. It was so great! I felt so blessed. My whole family was there. It felt so good to have Matt and Delores, Katie, Annie, Tom, and the girls, and, of course Grandpa and Mimi Sue all there. Mimi got Alan a cute little romper to wear. It was beautiful!

Most of Chason's family was there too. Grandma and Grandpa Collins had a little get together after. Great Grandpa Collins was there and participated in the circle. Even now, I'm filled with the greatest feeling when I think about that day. Thanks to all who was there!!

Our Day at the Lake

We had so much fun when Annie, Tom, and the girls came to visit. We especially enjoyed going to the lake with Grandpa and Mimi. Katie came too and it was so much fun.

It was nice to get out in the sun and play in the sand. It's been a while since I've been in a bathing suit.

It was a beautiful day! Everyone got a turn on the boat, except Baby Alan. He'll get a turn next year.

Our Little Surfer Boy

We had our ward picnic about a month ago. There was going to water games, so we decided it was a good day for Alan to wear his swimming outfit. His little rash guard has a patch that says "California"! I thought it was perfect. He looks like he's stricking his muscle man pose.

Alan was a little concerned by the hat. I sure he was thinking, "What are you doing to me, Mom? You owe me big time for this one!"

First Day at Church

Where has the time gone? I can't believe it's already the middle of July. My computer crashed and so now I have to use Chason's until mine is fixed. I'm still trying to figure out the picture program.
Anyways, I have a lot to share. There have been a few requests for an updated picture of me, though, because I spend most of my time behind the camera, there aren't that many to choose from.

Here we are, right after Alan's first day at church. He was such a good boy. Hardly made a fuss. I guess it helps when Grandma holds him the whole time.

I just love our little family.
