fact #246: I want to go to PARIS
Well, as some of you may know... i went to Istanbul... It was a pleasant holiday except for this one day...10 person in total... went with my father friend as usual... Cik Lan, we went with him to China last year... The total journey was around 15 hours or so... i know, can practically fly to US or Europe! my flight to Switz last time was around 16 hours! there was about 2 hours stopover to Dubai that's why. I went to Dubai before too.
So the guy at the immigration counter at Istanbul was hella cute!!! i was being myself laughing out loud with Iqah (father friend daughter)... by the time i reach the counter, the guy said 'good night'... i was like ' what do you mean night... it's 7 am in the morning'... then he asked my name and age... and once i told him i was a student, he gave that 'ouh okay disappointed' type of face... haha... he was hella cute and so are tonnes of other guys there... even the driver who fetch us was cute!
the hotel was 4 story with a terrace top(we had breakfast there) so no lift... exercise everyday...
the weather there was alot more colder then china last year... china had a minus degree but the weather is nothing compared to istanbul!!!! it's like 5 times worst! scenery was great! bought tonnes of stuff!
so as i mention earlier, it was nice except for one day when we decided to follow a day tour... we went with this four Indian couple... 2 were Indian muslim and were on their second honeymoon... we decided to go to Bursa, a four hours ride from Istanbul... The journey was great... we or rather they entertain us with hindi song... gosh! not my kind of music but i watch hindi shows last time... but halfway to our tour, our tour guide, Dilek, said that the cable car ride that we are suppose to ride on is like full... to ride the cable car up the mountain will take 3 hours up! and not too mention the journey down. so the 10 of us decided to take the bus up the mountain instead of taking the cable. but NOOOO those Indian people die die want to take the cable. they said, that is what they are there for, the cable car. i understand them a little but spending 6 hourse just to go up and down a mountain that you'll spend an hour or two on is just not worth it!
and so, you know what they or rather we argue. i pity the tour guide. they said that going to the mosque and bazaar was not that important. should have gone for the cable car ride first. in the brochure actually explain in a way that you are suppose to go up the mountain then go to the other places. it explains and not say it has to die die follow the order!!!!! they were nearly left there without no ride back! fuck them. they were bloody noisy. esp this one stupid woman who's like two years older then me. all the way i was being quite but i can't take it no more and shouted at her. you guys know how loud i can be right. then she asked dad to keep this girl (me) quite. then i have that, do you think i'm a kid expression. haha, but she kept quiet after that.
the thing is if she want to argue she can. but then we have small children travelling with us. and she was speaking let say shouting like we were deaf. and she keep repeating herself. saying that she has been to 14, yup she said 14, countries so she has experience and all so she said that this might be the first country we have been to. i was like 'so what'. if it were to count all the countries that i have been too, it will be soo much more then hers. i've been travelling eversince i was young and twice a year somemore. it last for more then 3 hours. can you take it. she shouted 'bitch' and say the word 'haram' and all. who can take her. even my dad, mum, dad friend and his wife shouted back. and the worst thing is, the two bloody indian muslim couple (well, the men more likely) was also shouting and complaining. and he even agreed that, the visit to the mosque was not that important and redundant! you go to a muslim country and you expect not too see mosque, what's up with the attitude!
enough about this. i had a great time there. the snow was nice too. someone even had a bbq up the moutain. ouh, and we met someone who lives in Paris. he's one of the top theater actor there and even acted in Munich, it's true. his daughter was a little shy though. but hey, Paris might be the next destination next year!!!! accommodation has already been taken care of if we were to go there. but wtf, i'm having my fyp next year TT_TT
