Meet Jeremy

I haven't blogged in a sweet forever! But, this was an opportunity that I couldn't pass up. I had to introduce you to our friend Jeremy.

Jeremy is 32 years old and lives in Bradenton, Florida. He is a teacher and a head basketball coach at a local high school.

I first met Jeremy when Mark and I were dating. Over 10 years ago! He went to high school with Mark and they have stayed great friends. That is mostly on Jeremy's part because Mark is terrible at keeping in touch with friends. But Jeremy has always been great about getting together with us when we are in town visiting.

Family is very important to Jeremy. He is always taking his grandma out to lunch and doing things to help her.  He is great with kids and I know he will make a great dad one day. He is always the first one to play with our kids and lend a helping hand when needed.

Jeremy is a GREAT friend and he has lots of close friends. He is willing to go out of his way for his friends and is a friend you can always count on.  When I asked him what his favorite things to do were his reply was hanging out with friends and family.  I pushed him a little more, "but what do you like to do with them?"  His reply describes him perfectly, "I'm more of a who I am with, then what I am doing."  Those words are so true to Jeremy.  He is a go with the flow and have fun no matter what we are doing kind of guy!

If you would like to contact Jeremy you can email him @ schiller.Jeremy@gmail.com or contact me @ mrconnett@yahoo.com.

Thanksgiving and more...

We went to Florida to Mark's house for Thanksgiving and we had a great time. Kinley got to see her Grandma and Grandpa, Uncles Chris and Tim, Great Uncles Jim and Mike and her Great Grandma Bev. She had a great time and was all smiles the whole trip! I added a few other cute recent pics! Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! We are loving sharing it with our sweet little girl!

(For some reason, I don't have any pics with Kinley and Grandma.)

Lately...

Well, we have been pretty busy lately. Last weekend we traveled up to St. Louis to visit our good friends Jamie, Morgan, and J. David Trotter. We had an awesome time while we were there. We couldn't have asked for better weather and we enjoyed some wonderful outdoor activities. Of course, the guys had to play some golf. And while they were golfing Jamie and I took the kids to the St. Louis Zoo. We had a great time and the kids did so good! We also went to the Botanical Garden while we were there. It was so nice and we enjoyed spending time all together. (It is so crazy to think that we have families now! It seems like just yesterday Jamie and I were sitting at a baseball game watching Mark and Morgan play!) On Saturday, Mark traveled over to Indianapolis to do some "work." He had a golf tournament that he had to be at for work. And Kinley and I stayed in St. Louis and enjoyed a few more days with the Trotters. We were sad to leave them and we hate that we live so far away. But, we had a wonderful trip! And we hope to see them again soon. Here are some pictures from our trip. J. David and Kinley were so cute together. We think that they would make a really cute couple!

Our two families together!
The cute couple!

A precious moment!
Kinley had so much fun jumping in J. David's jumperoo at his house, we had to get her one! Here are a couple pictures of Kinley enjoying her new toy.
So FUN!!

Here is a sweet picture of Kinley. She loves to smile for her Daddy!

Well, that's all for now! We are traveling to Tampa next weekend to visit Grandma and Grandpa Connett! Pictures of that trip soon to come!

A quick update in pictures!

Sorry that I haven't updated in forever! Here are some of the most recent pictures of Kinley! This week she will be 3 months old! It is so hard to believe! She just gets sweeter and cuter everday!

She thinks that she is such a big girl in her bumbo seat! She loves to hold her head up now!

Such a big girl sitting on the couch all by herself!

She is teething and always has her hands in her mouth!

Kinley and her friend Jacey! Jacey is 4 weeks older than Kinley and such a sweet baby--we just couldn't capture the smiles in time.

Kinley sitting up with her mommy!

Kinley trying to talk to me. She is constantly making noises and sounds now. So sweet!

Update and Pictures!

Sorry that it has been a while since I have added anything to the blog. I still haven't quite gotten used to the idea of writing whats going on and updating it often. Anyway, we have just been trying to get back into the swing of things since we were out of town for such a long time. I took Kinley to the doctor on Monday and everything is going great! She weighed 11lbs. and 6oz. And she was 23 inches long. She is the 75th percentile in height and weight. So, you can see that she is growing like a weed! And she is still sleeping good...(Knock on wood!) Yesterday she slept for 9 hours through the night and I had to wake her up because I had to leave! She is just wonderful! Every morning when you go into to get her, she has the biggest smile on her face. It is the sweetest thing! My grandparents came to visit this week and it was a good thing because I have been having back problems and I can use all the help!! Here are a few pictures I have taken recently. There will be more to come soon, I promise!
Here is Kinley giving a little half smile!
And there is a great big one!!

She makes the sweetest faces when she sleeps.

Thanks to Kerri for coming to help one night when Mark was working and I needed some help because of my back!

And here is Kinley rocking in the chair with her Great Grandma. She is wearing cherries for her Grandma and Papa Cherry!
