The Little Things

This is an old posting that I didn't post because I didn't have the pictures yet.
For Memorial weekend my sister invited us up to her cabin in Heber. We were only there for a couple of hours when I found some spots on Shayla's arms and legs. I said Shayla what is this "just my polka dots". Well her polka dots turned into massive hives that covered her from head to toe. We are not sure what she is having a allergic reaction to, but she has been miserable. The doctor put her on some medicine that makes her very irritable, so it's been good times here at the McCrary house. Getting back to the Cabin, Shayla decided to be brave and go on the four wheeler. Carter loved it from the start. She also went down the zipline. Carter kept asking "please" but he is still to little to go down. Both of the kids loved going in the hot tub. It was a very nice break from everything. On a side note one more day of work before I get the summer off.

We finally made it over to see Amy's dog, Kimber. Amy is decorating his little doggy house and it's really cute. She is so creative and fun. Kimber is pretty cute dog and Shay and carter enjoyed going over and seeing him. Carter was still not feeling well on Saturday so Dale decided to break out the hammock that he made in Guatemala. He set it up in the backyard and stuck Carter in it. He loved it. He was not happy when we took him out. I don't blame him, life would be pretty good in hammock.

I have one more week left until I am done with work and off for the summer. I love summer vacation. The Preschool went on a field trip to the Belle farm and I brought Shayla along. She really enjoyed the farm, she had to know all the animals names and was very persistent on asking the farmer what the animals names were. The only ones I can remember are Olivia the Pig and Samson the Horse. Her favorite animal was the baby kittens. Shayla has this deep love for cats and she thinks she is getting one of her own. She asks us weekly when we are going to go pick up Rose (yes, she has already named the cat she is not getting). Here are some pictures from the farm.

Our neighbors across the street are moving, so I asked them if they were planning on taking there swing set. Anyways, to make a long story short we got a 3 year old swing set for $25. Shayla and Carter love it. It is in really good condition and just the right size for our kids. I love when I can get a good deal!
