Kindergarten

The night before the big day we did our little tradition of reading the "Kissing Hand".  This time I started to cry because I knew once she left for kindergarten schooling would never stop until college and that meant she was no longer my baby.  Yes, this may seem a little drastic but I am so sad how fast 5 years went by.  It didn't help that I was also holding Addie who looks like Shay when she was a baby.  Shay was doing fine she wasn't even nervous.  After the book was over Shay went to get me some tissue and when she came out of the bathroom she had alligator tears streaming down her face.  "I don't ever want to leave home mommyI want to stay with you forever."  Then I started crying again and Dale was looking at both of us like what is going on here we just read a story.

On her Big Day Shay did great and even talked to the teacher and other in her class.  I was so proud of her and was grateful that I got to see her be so grown up.  After kindergarten was over she said "Kindergarten Rocks!" I am excited for her and all the things she will learn this year.

I had to add a few cute pics of Addie.  I dressing her up but in the busy morning life I am grateful that I have Carter who takes 5 minutes to get ready including his hair.
