The Dodgers go marching one by one..........To the left is Coach Glover and his daughter and after her is Brock and then the rest of the team trailing along. This was the opening ceremony for little league. The cub scouts (including Brock and Brayden) were in charge of the flags. Everyone had their first games of the season that day, or I should say they were supposed to. The team that the Dodgers were supposed to play had two games that day. They played another team first, left and never came back to play the Dodger's. So they just had practiced and played their first game three days later. Looking at the other teams the Dodger's are pretty small. But they sure do try really hard. The other team looked like giants compared to them. Brock was second to last on the batting order, had a couple hits but nobody made it to base. Brock hit a nice one past the outfielders and made it to second (could have made it to home but coach told him to stop and he listened very well). The next batter got Brock home. So he was the first person to make it to base and the only one to score.

Here is Brayden with his car and his second place trophy. He found a cowboy's hat in his dad's old stuff and wanted to wear it. He said it was a lucky hat.

Makayla was pretty funny during the races. She even had her carebear blankey to keep her company. She likes to take it almost everywhere. She use to carry around a precious moments blanket but it needed to be sewn because it was coming apart. I am not a sewer so and had somenone else fix it.......about.......a year and a half ago and still have not got it back. And that person knows who I am talking about. So it's a good thing Makayla's great grandma made her another one. Just don't try taking this one away she'll fight you for it.
