Paper Trail

One of John Hall's favorite tricks is to make paper trails around the house. One day he unrolled toilet paper from his bathroom into the dining room, to the living room, and around to kitchen. We've decided it's best to not have toilet paper out in these bathrooms since our supply was running out!

Camping Out...

John and Jason decided it was high time they constructed a camp-sit in the living room. It got pretty elaborate after the addition of all the dining room chairs, a couple of bar stools, and all the extra blankets in the house!

We all climbed in the tent and sang songs and told stories. It was a grand time in the "outdoors."

Camping can be messy business, so JH took a bath to settle down for the night. He likes for me to draw people we know. This particular evening, he requested I draw his Muddie twice and his cousin, Khloe. Looks just like them, doesn't it???!!!

Daffodil Fields

Tonya and I took the boys to Wye Mountain to see the flowers with great hopes of getting a few good pictures of the boys in the beatiful setting. We couldn't get them to sit down long enough for smiles at our cameras. Even though he isn't a willing photograhpy subject, I still really like how some of them turned out. There is no doubt my little guy is all boy!

The Heisman

I sure do love my little guy!

These are seriously the best pictures I could manage to get of John Hall and Cade together. They were way too busy running all over the fields to take time to pose for photographs!

Chase Race

We went to the Chase Race which is a 5K where people can also run with their puppies. It is an event to celebrate the brief life of Donald Lee Chase Potter, 1991-2005. Jason runs with Chase's father at times on Saturday mornings. He and his wife searched for a way to perpetually continue the legacy of their 13-year old son who loved animals and suffered from traumatic brain injury. His parents, both runners, focused on a running event that could be partnered with pets. It is now a quality, fun and exciting annual event that occurs near March 12, the date of his death. The Chase Race and Paws promotes and raises funds for non-adopted pets and research for adolescents with traumatic brain injury.

JH thought it was so much fun to see all the different kinds of dogs! He would love to have one of his own...someday.

And they're off....

We went to Hot Springs to celebrate my very dear friend, Tonya's birthday. This has become sort of a traditional trip when her birthday rolls around. We had an amazing dinner and then went to the horse races the next day.

Here we are watching the races and enjoying Oaklawn's yummy corned beef sandwiches!

Bunko Bash

This year, I served as the Bunko Bash project chair for our JA chapter. It turned out to be a really fun event and went off without a hitch!

The biggest bunko winner and most games winner won a laser package and a facial from Cosmetic Laser solutions.

Little Cowpoke

My Grandparents gave me this outfit so that I won't forget my Texas roots! How cool is this?

Thanks Muddie and Pop! I look like a true Texas Cowboy for sure!
