Halloween Pictures

I have a million pictures of my adorable little boy that I neglected to post. Only a month and a half later, here are some pictures we took around Halloween. Because of the move, we didn't get a chance to go to a pumpkin patch (next year I guess!), so we made our own little pumpkin patch in the backyard:

 Ooo, what's this?

Mmm, pumpkin!

He couldn't stop touching them

So excited about pumpkins!

Yay, pumpkins!

And Nick and I carved our pumpkins and put them on our porch. I think they turned out pretty well, considering we were a bit rushed (Nick got home from a trip the night before):

He also had to sport his adorable pumpkin bib from Nonnie and Big Daddy:

And, we dressed him up as a cute little dinosaur and took him around the neighborhood:

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving around here, and I hope you did too! We ended up relaxing at home, just the 3 of us (and the dogs, of course!). As much fun as it would have been to spend the holiday with family, it was nice not having any traveling stress. Eli even sported his best onesie for the occasion:

The turkey wasn't quite ready for his dinner time (he got some the next day and liked it), but he did get to try some mashed potatoes, which he definitely enjoyed:

Digging those mashed potatoes

Nick took the lead on the turkey, and it was absolutely delicious! Our leftovers were gone in a matter of days, and we're definitely planning on making turkey more often.

Part of our feast

We also had roasted potatoes, garlic mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and stuffing. We also planned on having crescent rolls, but someone (cough, Rufus, cough) ate every...single...one off of the cookie sheet when we left the room. Oh, and they were completely raw. Crazy dog!

We also got some family photos, since it had been awhile and we all looked so fancy:

We also went down to the local riverwalk and checked out their Christmas light display. So pretty! Eli seemed to enjoy it too. He just looked around with an expression of awe on his face the whole time.

Definitely a great Thanksgiving weekend! I don't think I could have asked for better. I know we have so much to be thankful for

Give thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ
