Sea World Trip

Craig had some work stuff to do in San Antonio, so the girls and I tagged along. We also got to spend two days at Sea World and dropped in to see my Grandpa in Llano on the way home. It was a great end of the summer trip for us!

We spent most of one day at the water park within Sea World because it was blazing hot!!!

Adi was out of it before we even got out of the water park area.

Audrey was not far behind her.

But we pushed them to do one more show. Adi woke up and saw the dolphins swimming around before the show started. She was so excited, so we went down for a closer look.

They are such playful animals.

The girls and I left Craig in Austin and headed to Llano to visit Grandpa and Maxine. They had not met Audrey yet.

Why is Audrey wet?!

When I came back from the restroom tonight (literally 60 seconds), my youngest child looked up at me with this dripping wet face...

I mean, it is VERY hot here, but I know she did not sweat this much!!! Why are you all wet, Audrey?

If she could talk, I think she would have said that she did not do this alone.

This is when Adi picks up the water bottle I use to tame her hair down in the morning and a comb and says, "Watch, Mom. I skirt Audwey."

Poor Audrey. She was just taking it. In the face, the mouth, the head. Never uttered a complaint.

Apparently, Audrey's comb-over needed a little more combing-over.

Notice too how wet Adi's hair was. Do you think they were 'skirting' each other?

SuMMeR FUn!!!

All dressed up

Aunt Kristin and Uncle Jordan got Adi a fun PINK dress up box for her birthday. It is packed full of various coordinating pink items to put on. Including: a hat with big pink flowers, a pink tutu with pink flowers, pink gloves with pink flowers, pink and white beads, pink sunglasses, a purse with a pink notebook and pink crayon, and a pink scarf (that Adi calls her 'tite' as in 'tie' like Daddy wears!) She gets all dressed up and then proclaims, "Momma, take a picture! Cheese!"

Rollin'

Audrey just started rolling over this week. Now she flips every time I put her down on her back.

Sleeping beauty

I just went to put Adilyn down for a nap and returned to find Audrey sacked out. I guess after our morning errands and little cat naps she was worn out! Just a note about her sleeping (so I'll remember): She is 'sleeping through the night'. She'll pretty consistantly sleep 8 or more hours at night. With one feeding at about 4:00. Then back to sleep. A few times she has gone 10 or 12 hours! She is putting her self to sleep for both bed and naps. The past few weeks, she has been wanting a pacifier just when she is sleepy. She sucks on it a while and then spits it out and falls asleep. I am amazed at what a laid back and happy baby she is.
