Happy Birthday Adam!!

Adam turned three years old on Halloween!! Here are some of my favorite pictures of Adam over the years. The first picture was taken at his Birthday Party.
This is Adam outside our house playing with the rocks. He loves to put rocks in things like; drainage pipes, flower pots, lunch boxes, pockets, the grill on Daddy's truck, etc.
He may not look too happy in this picture but Adam is my best helper in the kitchen. He loves to bake!!! He says "Mommy, muttins!"

Here is Adam with his "guys." Adam likes to keep his things in his posession at all times.

Here is Adam eating Chips! He loves chips and all other junk food.
Adam has always had one of the most infectious smiles! He can light up my face at any time with his sweet smile.

Here is "Bud" with his crazy hair by Daddy's truck. He has always loved getting into the back of Daddy's truck.

Here is Adam helping us build the playground. He is fascinated with tools and loves to get in the fat middle of things.

One of my all time favorite pictures of Adam! This is Adam eating his "Cerio," a combination of cereal and cheerio mixed together.
He has a thing for boxes and laundry baskets.

This boy LOVES chocolate!

Another favorite. Here he is in a box with a toy snake. All boy!

Here he is playing with his sisters at the piano. There is nothing Adam loves more than attention from his sisters!

Here is baby Adam at Christmas time. I miss that!

Here's our little guy at around three months.

Our special Halloween baby!

Having Adam has been such a unique experience for me as a Mother. He is so different than the girls. He has a special place in my heart. He is definately a Momma's boy! We have a special connection. I love you Adam! Happy Third Birthday!

My Super Heros

It's finally quiet in the Carter Household. All of the little monkeys have gone to bed. There are a handful of dishes in the sink, a load of laundry in the dryer, the dishwasher is running, and the remains of the day are strewn about the house. Sometimes I pick it all up, give myself a fresh start in the morning, other times I leave it be. My husband always says, "at some point you just have to stop working and take a break." I probably take too many. After all, sometimes you have to stop and smell the roses. Here are some of mine . . .

These pictures make me smile!!

Rachel's Prayer

Rachel was asked to pray tonight. Here are a few little gems:

Please bless Daddy that he will read the scriptures and teach us very nicely.
Please bless Mommy that she won't get frustrated when we stay up all night.
Please bless Bud that he will talk and grow up and be a handsome Dad.

Watching my baby giggle as I kissed and bounced her.
Adam tickling my face while I sang him a song. (Just like I do to him)

Hello!

My name is Claire, aren't I adorable?

I have discovered my Feet!

They look cute . . .
and taste yummy.

I like to play on my tummy now.

I smile all of the time.

Sometimes I still get a little wobbly . . .

but it's lots of fun!
Aren't I a big girl!!

Spiderman

Adam decided that he doesn't like pictures anymore! We can't have that!!

Not wanting to cooperate . . .

Compliance?

I am frustrated that this is so gray but what a cute picture of my little helper! He LOVES to help me cook. He is watching the dough in the bread maker. He really likes to do this!
