We had a really nice family home evening the other night.  We discussed Testimonies and we had everyone share something that they have a testimony of. 

Rachel said, "I have a testimony of the church and that we can follow the commandments so that we do not turn out like Satan."

She also said the closing prayer and said the following in reference to her baptism (by emergency;)
"Bless Audrey that her whole body will go under the water so that she won't have to do it again."

Rachel had testing done and came back clear of cancer!!  My Dad sent me this video and song and I think that it fits her perfectly!  It made me cry.  We are so blessed.

So, Rachel has always been very innocently Sacrilegious. When she had just turned two years old we were walking down the hall at church and she was repeating the name of the Saviour over and over in a very casual way. She then turned and asked me why every painting was of Jesus. I answered that we come to church to learn about Him so that we can follow his example. She looked down, thought for a minute and then said, "Well, I'm sick of Jesus."

Then of course there was This

The other day we were talking about the Atonement and she said, "Mom, that is not very fair that Heavenly Father made His Son do it, why didn't He do it Himself?"

I don't think I have EVER heard ANYONE think of that! This is what happens when you get a deep thinking kid! What am I going to do with her?!

Happy Birthday to our Beautiful Oldest Daughter! She is growing into an amazing girl. She is the sweetest, most genuine person. She cares so much for others and is always willing to put their needs and comforts ahead of her own. She is a great example to her brother and sisters. Audrey, you are the best!

My little buddy - with LONG hair!

If you could only hear the noise at my house! There is yelling, laughing, singing, stomping, and the like. I am sitting here in the office waiting for the sun to settle in for the night. I can see the signs, the sky is dimming and the clouds are beggining to blush. My eyes are burning with exhaustion. Why am I so tired? It has been a pretty typical day. I cleaned my house this morning, and then went to lunch with my sisters! (What a treat) When I got home I made rice Krispy Treats for my girls who have been asking for them and then I ate more than I had planned to! I want nothing more than to tuck my four energy filled children into bed and curl up on the couch with some mindless fluff.

Another day is on its way . . . Goodnight!
