~ Valentine's ~

It was L's first Valentine's Day and of course she didn't have a clue as to what was happening, but B sure did. Anything that involves presents is right up her alley! J got us all 3 a bouquet of flowers and it looked cute arranged from small to big.
E-maw and Papaw got the girls snow globes. There is a story behind the snow globes. Last week when B and L stayed at their house, B was playing with a snow globe they had. She ended up dropping it and it broke. I had no idea until B woke up after she got home the next morning and told us "The snow globe just fell and broke and E-maw and Papaw were SO MAAADDD at me!". I called my dad to get the story and he confirmed that she broke it but they didn't say a word to her about it. So my mom thought it would be cute to get them snow globes for Valentine's. B LOVED it and said she would be good and not break it. Well...when I got out of the shower B and J were there to tell me something and by the look on their faces I knew something had happened. Well, B didn't break her snow globe, she broke L's....LOL. Keep in mind this was NOT EVEN 1 hour after opening the gifts!!!! We couldn't help but laugh, and I sent my parents a picture of the broken snow globe and they laughed. B would not talk to my dad because she thought she was in trouble so we had to keep telling her it was ok and she was not in trouble. I went by the store later that day to try and get a replacement for L, but the store was ransacked and there was not one to be found! Needless to say, B will never have a snow globe collection and if she does we will be trying to find a plastic one if it even exists!!!

~ More SNOW ~

On Saturday, I made snow ice cream and it was GGGGOOOOODDDD! I ate so much that my stomach was hurting, but oh well. I was so full I didn't have dinner that night. I tried to get B to help and she would not. She would not even eat any either! B made snowmen with her friends at Miss L's house too!

~ SNOW ~

As many of you know we had record snowfall! My kids have seen more snow on their short lives than I have in my whole life! B will hopefully remember it but L will not. We took B to slide down a hill, which she didn't take to very well, but oh well we still had fun throwing snowballs. The snow was beautiful and such a sight to see for this Dallas native!
B made her first snow angel. I also included a pic of our house covered in snow!

~ Weekend Getaway ~

J and I went for a weekend getaway while my mom watched the girls. The place was really nice and called WildCatter Ranch. It was VERY peaceful and relaxing!

~ Some Random Pics ~

~ Make-up Queen ~

B got some make-up for her birthday back in November and I was waiting for the perfect time to really get into it. I laid a towel down on the ground and B, Aunt Silla, and I played with make-up. B loved it, although I think she ended up looking more like a football player than a little girl with the make-up on!!

~ Growing Like a Weed ~

Miss L is just growing like a weed and learning so many things. We were SO lucky with B that she NEVER put anything in her mouth...it will NOT be that way with L. She puts everything in her mouth!! I am just in LOVE with her chunky thighs and cant get enough of them. B never had an ounce of baby fat on her so I am on cloud nine that I get some on L!!!
L is now big enough to get in her activity center, but of course, B thinks she can do it too. What a mess!

~ Ringing in the New Year ~

It was L's first New Years and I decided to dress her in the same outfit that B wore when she celebrated her first NYs. Of course they were different in age by about 3 months but it is just interesting to put them side by side!
