I went to post about our new house and I realized that we only have pictures of the upstairs. Nothing of the downstairs or yard. So I'll post what we have and do the others soon. Oh, and by the way, these pictures were taken very shortly after we moved in so every room is very messy. It's starting to get better now.
This is the stove in the play room. It's really old and cute and even has a cooktop on top of it.

This is the "mud room" it is a great storage cabinet next to the door in the playroom. The playroom was an addition to the house and is sort of like a breezeway between the front yard and the back yard.

This is the lovely playroom carpet.

Here's the hallway between the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. It has a broom closet and two sets of built-into-the-wall drawers and cabinets. I love those things. (and there's Adelyn, "scaring" us)

This is the "lovely" sink and toilet in the bathroom. Just like in our old house, there is absolutely no counter space. But I've gotten used to it now and I barely even notice anymore. The toilet has a square base and therefore the rug doesn't fit around it.

This is the bathroom view from the doorway. Behind the door on the left there is the tub. It doesn't have a shower. The downstairs one does, but it doesn't have a tub.

This is the kids' bedroom. It has shag olive green carpet and mustard yellow walls. Suffice it to say, our old candy corn yellow, orange and white decor doesn't match.

This is a great view of the carpet in the master bedroom... and the step down. The second front porch was remodeled to be included in the master bedroom, which really opens it up, but it's not quite on the same level as the rest of the room.

Another view in the master bedroom. We have a chandelier, and you can kind of see the wallpaper. (it matches the carpet really well)

This is the front room (and the front door). To the right you see the breakfast nook (the space including and behind the floral couch); the couch there was left by the previous owners and we sold it, so now we can actually use the nook, which is a really good thing, since the kitchen can't fit a table. There is a fireplace in the wall across from our brown couch.

Here is the other side of the front room. You can see the fireplace and our piano. The half wall in the middle is a bookshelf on the other side. And past that is the master and kids' bedrooms. The wall was an addition and we're thinking we'll take it out, then we'll be able to walk in a circle around the house.

Here's the kitchen. It's small, but so far has been big enough for everything I've needed from it. It has a small breakfast bar that Adelyn and I are sitting at. It puts you about a foot from the wall, so that's what you see when you sit up to it to eat. So, we use it mostly for more counter space.

Well, that's our upstairs. I'll show you the rest later.
