10,000 pictures am I nuts or what.

After posting my last blog I realized that the last picture in it was IMG_9999 on my iPhone and suddenly I felt a lot of pressure to make #10,000 be a real nice one. But then I got impatient and was sick of denying myself the opportunity to take pictures so I just wanted to get it over with and wanted to document our snowy Saturday practice so then this one happened:

St. Patricks day I really enjoyed the Google page and sent to to my Irish dancing mom right away.

While Paul was doing some training in Florida I kept my self busy with some projects and added a lot more pictures to my wall collage. It makes me happy and I like how we have a lot more friends on that wall now.

These self-taken pictures are better next to each other.
Left: Was taken to send to Paul about the second snowy lacrosse practice in a row (ice in my hair) while he was in warm Florida (too bad he didn't get to be outside at all).
Right: My happiness with getting my free Italian Ice at Rita's on the first day of Spring - bad news is that it wasn't actually warm that day, I was sitting in my car.

We got a package from Paul's twin friends in Russia and they sent us the coolest hand painted egg and chocolates and a cool tin.

I gave my fish an upgraded suite and I think he's very happy there.

I also house-sat for our friends and took their dog Stella on a morning walk, so I guess I'm just all the sudden a pet person.

Saturday evening I was getting lonely and bored so I texted Celeste and told her I wanted to make something and then ran to the fabric store and found this best giraffe fabric and made a car seat cover. Sweet baby Kate helped me test it out the next day.

On Wednesday I did the best parallel parking job in Princeton and was so proud of myself for being an adult and not having to back in and out a hundred times.

And that brings us to yesterday, when Paul let me know he called the police to report a crime. The crime was against an innocent victim. He was working in his office when he heard a "snap" and saw a semi-truck knocking over this poor tree. When I came to pick him up I made him take a picture with the fallen foliage that he tried to save.

But the best news of this whole week was that my sweet little sister, Celeste, had her baby boy! I am such a proud aunt and sister and sister-in-law and I am so excited for Celeste & Brandon and can't wait to meet sweet Ezra. My family has been doing such a nice job of including me by sending pictures, and video chatting.
Eric took a few great pictures at the hospital and it made me feel like I was there, some of my favorites:

Welcome to the world little Ezra!

a birthday boy

The Goates came into town for Paul's birthday weekend, and since it snowed Friday, my lacrosse practice was cancelled Saturday, so we all headed into the city together. It warmed up pretty nicely and we had a lovely day there.

The American Girl Doll store is nuts. You can pay (a lot of money) to have the dolls hair done.
The moms, daughters, and dolls all match.

Even their bathrooms are like a dollhouse.

I loved this bouncer/balloon combo.

Mmmmm Magnolia.

 >>>>
Sunday was the actual birthday day (and how mean is it that Daylight Savings happened and cut Paul, Chelsey, Ian and Isaac's birthday's short by an hour?!).

Marian helped me cook Paul an omelet for breakfast in bed. Then Paul opened presents and I was so thrilled to have him open the Mongolia book I made him that was a total surprise (he never lets me pull off surprises).

We headed to church and enjoyed that, then a quick chicken salad on croissant lunch before heading to my band concert. :) I play Tuba in a community band and Paul was so nice to give up an hour or two of his day to hear my perform.

We headed back to our little apartment and had dinner (Donna's delicious ribs recipe - my first time making them) then went on a little walk outside before having cake (bavarian tort, a Frandsen speciality).

Reuby wanted to help with the cake and did a great job knowing all his letters and helping me arrange them.

And if I may... I'm going to take a quick moment to sing the praises of that birthday boy. I'm so glad I have him. He makes life joyful, and fun, and meaningful. He supports me and loves me. We balance each other out. He is interesting, thoughtful, dedicated and hardworking and bonus! ...he has great hair.
I hope you had a great birthday PB. I love you.

In addition, lacrosse has begun!
Tuesday's practice started out rainy but then we got this rainbow and had our warmest day yet.

On Wednesday, the girls gave me a fish. Named Franny.
They are so goofy and fun to be around (most the time but sometimes teenage girls can drive me nuts too).
 ok bye.
