around these parts

we make weird faces
 and even more weird faces...
 and, even more weird faces.
we go trick or treating and forget
to post pictures until december.

we wonder where the time has gone
and how our baby is so big.
 we do vampire teeth
 and biking weird ramps
 we lounge around.
 we diy
 we get naked
and hang our butts in the toilet
and sometimes while we're trying to 'go,'
we eat cookies while watching tv and playing on the ipod.
 we smooch
 we eat turkey
(why yes, that is a rather unattractive picture of me.
thanks.)
 we get our sticker on.
 we sew with grammy.
and pretend like we "helped" to make a beautiful stocking
even if it took us 30 minutes to cut out 6 squares.
we do rockin' birthday parties at
chuck-e-cheese
HAPPY B.DAY LIL G!!

we watch our weirdo brothers ride rides...
and contemplate what junk, er treasures, to buy
with our tickets.
 we decorate christmas trees
(ie: this is what a xmas tree is supposed to
look like, Olsen family...!!!!
kidding)

we eat m&ms when we go poo poo on the potty.
we let joseph hold our sucker when mom breaks his staff.
we use straws at every meal whether we want to or not...
cause skylar sets the table and insists on straws.  for everyone. no exceptions.

we're all just here, hanging out, and getting ready for christmas.
we're nearly done with our christmas shopping and are waiting for the snow to fall.  at least skylar is--she looks out the window every morning hoping to find snow so we can go sledding.  i, on the other hand, look out the window every morning hoping to find the crushed shell beaches of hawaii in my backyard with a beautiful cabana and a drink boy who brings me ice cold dew all day.  a girl can dream, can't she...

skylar is doing the potty training, big girl panties thing.  she's doing a great job and it's going better than i thought.  she's a very, very independent little girl (don't know where she gets that from...) and is really into chapstick.  she puts it on constantly.  and then refuses to kiss you or eat for fear her 'chap chap' might get rubbed off.  good grief.

sadie is great.  she's a total chunk and i love every roll and every dimple.  she's not rolling...or sitting...or scooting--all thing skylar was doing at this age, but whatever.  maybe if i ever put her down she might make a move.  she's a champion sleeper and i love her for it.

matt's back at deer valley and rei.  he's also hoping it snows so there are lessons to be taught.  otherwise one of us is going to have to take up pole dancing at the titti bar down town.  and since his body is much firmer and tighter than mine, i guess he'd better start practicing his moves.
bow chica wow wow.

and i'm here.  being a mom.  some days i want to scream and pull my hair out and bury my head in the sand.  other days i want to have a zillion more kids.  most days i just try to sit back and soak it all in.  all days i fall madly in love with my kids and am so freaking grateful that i'm a mom and am trusted to raise these little girls.

and that's all.
i don't do xmas cards, so happy friggin holidays from us.
be safe, bitches.
xoxo
