we live in a beautiful place
gearing up for biking season.
we haven't been up to much around these parts because we can't seem to stay healthy. between colds, ear infections, bronchiolitis, more colds, a quit bout of stomach flu, i'm ready to bury myself in a hole and sleep for a month. cest la vie.
matt is just about done at deer valley and will have a quick week off before starting as a guide at timp cave. not sure what the job entails, yet...only that he gets to wear cargo pants, polishable boots, and a beige safari hat. be still my heart. and my loins.
skylar is finally healthy and back to normal. she's getting to be such a big girl and is hilarious. she's always cracking us up and is a great big sister. she has had quite the go round with ear infections this year (4 to date), and saw an ENT who will be hacking out her tonsils in a couple weeks. i can hardly wait for that recovery process. in all honesty, i'm just hoping that it stops her ear infections, cuts down on the wicked snore she's got, and helps her sleep more soundly.
sadie is a champ. the chillest baby around. except last week when she was fighting a cold. that was tough. she has spoiled me ROTTEN by being such a great sleeper and napper, than when she gets sick and won't sleep in her crib, i get cranky. again, cest la vie. she's healthy again, has 4 teeth, and is getting more as we speak. she is a husky, okay fat, baby and i love every roll.
and i'm good. i'm tutoring my brothers three days and week. school work aside, i actually quite enjoy the time we get to spend together each week. i know it won't last much longer. other than that, we're just hanging out and keeping it real. we're getting excited for spring, hoping to go on a vacation this summer, and are busy living life.
