Holidaze

Right after Reagan's birthday party, Christopher, our personal elf showed up.  I guess he heard about the awesome cupcakes I made for the party.  It sure looks like he enjoyed them!
The next night, we caught him racing with the other toys while Santa held the racing flag.
I'm not sure how Christopher got himself into this mess...maybe he thought it was a tanning bed?
We visited our town's lighted Christmas parade and Reagan seemed to enjoyed it when she would stay still.  She preferred resting her head on to her Daddys.
This week came something new, the flu.  I started feeling odd on a Wednesday and by Friday I could barely move.  This picture was taken at the doctor where they made me wear this mask.
 Christopher even thought about me.
In attempt to keep the kids away from my germs, we sent the kids to my in-laws for the weekend.  They got to spend some time with them while I rested and my husband made me chicken and dumplings and brought me treats and my medication.
They got to see Santa, even though I think it is one of the most odd Santa's I've seen in a while.
 Play around in the mall...

 and search for dinosaurs.
Grant and I have been writing notes to each other and pushing them under the bedroom door where I've been camping out.

My little man

With social media comes all these "theme days".
MCM - Man Crush Monday
WCW- Woman Crush Wednesday
TBT- Throw Back Thursday
Not sure exactly why or who this came about but today I want to give you my Man (boy) crush Monday.

Grant is six and a half and makes me smile so much and frustrate me so much.  He is turning in to such a young man.   I caught him curling up under the blanket and playing this game with this sister the other day.  I always knew he'd be a great big brother!
The other day we had a good laugh and a good science lesson.  He got off the bus and got to my room and said, "You're going to be mad at me."  I was waiting to hear how he got in trouble at school.
Instead he said, "I got ice cream on my lunch box."  I said, "Why would I be mad at that?"  Then he pulled his lunchbox out of his backpack and this sticky, watery mess drained out.
Grant had purchased one of these nice little cups of ice cream for an afternoon treat, apparently, and kept in his lunchbox for after school.
Yikes! What a mess!  He said he was sorry and that a girl in his class told him it would work if he put the lid back on tight.  I laughed and he didn't think it was so funny.  We had a good laugh together after we cleaned it up and he realized he wasn't in trouble.  Daddy gave him a wrong lesson of how not to listen to girls.

Reagan's 2nd Birthday Bow-tique

My baby girl is turning 2.  We had a "Minnie's Bow-tique" party.
Reagan was decked out in her birthday girl shirt, with the biggest bow we had.
She was excited to see her cousin Vivian.
Waiting for her guests to arrive.  It was a beautiful December evening.

Everyone had mouse ears

My mom and my niece Claire.
Miss Abby
We had a pinata that you pulled strings to open it up.

It had been a windy day and all the leaves found its way to the ground.  We had to dig under the leaves to find the candy and goodies.

Reagan got plenty of fun presents.

Same expression!

Enjoying her cupcakes

This little girl makes us smile every day.  She is talking more and more and is becoming more social with those around her.  She is still wants to be Miss Independent but loves to hold on to those she loves.
These shots are of her devouring the left over cupcakes.  She thought it was funny to cover herself in icing.

We had to move her to the toddler bed this weekend because she crawled out of her crib.  When I took her picture, she 'cheesed' for the first time.  Then we both had a good laugh about it.  I'm so glad God made me her Mommy.  Happy Birthday Reagan!

Yesterland Farm

Last weekend we trekked to Canton, TX to meet up with Grammie and PePaw to visit Yesterland Farm.  We've been wanting to visit here fore a while,  but just never had the chance.
We went to eat lunch first.  Reagan enjoyed her free ice cream.

Once there, we went straight to the slides.
Reagan's face when I went down the slides.
We then hit the corn maze and played "Mazeopoly" as we went through.

 Can you see a Daniel??
We were told this is what the maze looked like.  Dedicated to this organization, Mallory's Heart.
Santa's Runaway Sleigh was a big hit.

We visited the pig races and Grammie got picked to be a pig cheerleader.

Reagan watched the pigs as well.

Using apples as ammo is always fun.

 Duck races

They still had plenty of pumpkins for us to take pictures with.
