We had a wonderful Christmas but the best part--we got some snow! The days and weeks leading up had been unseasonably warm and although this brought many a midwesterner happiness, I was really hoping for a real winter-y Christmas. And we got it. A nice big blizzard.
Thankfully our friends have a four wheeler with plow on the front and I think Chris' best present was an excuse to borrow it and have some fun in the neighborhood.
All the boys had a great time plowing, shoveling and playing while Millie and I stayed inside and practiced the Kazoo
and made marshmallows.
Princess really liked them.
We had a great time. But eventually all bowls and beaters have to be taken away and washed, even if they have been thoroughly licked clean.
But she was back to her happy self in no time and for the next couple days we had some great hot cocoa mornings.
