Christmas and more...

Here are a few pictures from the last little while. Kade was on a basketball team - every team he has been on always seems to be the worst team in the league?? But he loved it and had a lot of fun. Kade and Ty both had Christmas programs at their schools. Kade's was harder to get a good picture at because they crammed all the parents/grandparents and siblings into their classroom to do the program. It was crowded and hot - but the songs were really cute and he loved having us there to watch him. Ty's program was funny - he sang all the songs but would NOT do any of the actions when everyone else was. He told me after he would never to that because everyone would see him. He is lining himself up with the row of chairs in this picture. His reindeer antler headband fell down and was over his eyes for about 1/2 the program.
My sisters friends comes to her house every year dressed as santa - Ty, Zack and I were there this year and the boys loved getting presents from Santa. Zack would not touch or go near santa, but he wanted his present and treat, so he ran up grabbed the present and then ran away.
Most of our pictures from Christmas morning are not that great. Zack was moving and yelling with excitment so much all his pictures are a little blurry. Kade is pulling some crazy face or sticking his tongue out in all of his pictures - thankfully Ty will hold still for a second for a picture.

The boys all got season passes to Lagoon - so we'll be spending most of our summer at Lagoon and Lagoon-A-Beach :) Zack was tired from all the excitment. He LOVED unwrapping presents and would scream when he saw what was inside. He was so funny to watch. He has learned how to climb out of his crib and starting yesterday he gets NO binki. He is on the verge of being able to communicate - He has a lot to say ALL the time, you just can't understand most of it :)
Rich knew my subscription to STAR magazine expired in December and got me a new subscription to my smut magazine! He also got me new pots and pans which I am loving!! I got him a GPS. We hooked it up last night and had fun playing with it. It is really cool and fun to have.

We had a great Christmas and are looking forward to the new year. Even though we had a pretty rough year this year we are still very happy and feel very blessed to have such great families. We love our 3 boys, they are so energetic and tons of fun - most of the time :)

Christmas At The Johnson's

He had a nice Christmas at the Johnson residence and wanted to share a few pictures:

Riley inspects the note left by Santa!
The girls were kind enough to pose for a few pictures before the hurricane hit.

Aftermath...

Riley and Macie were excited for their Power-Wheel Jeeps.

We had to inform Charlotte and Macie they couldn't talk on their cell phones while driving.

Charlotte was mostly disinterested with everything except the Runts - see left hand and drool :)
However, she did perk up a little when the Cabbage Patch Doll was opened.

Drag Racing in the basement.

Merry Christmas!

We hope you all had a fabulous Christmas.
We're excited to see you all in a few days!

Tis The Season For Miracles

Tis the season for miracles in Idaho Falls...

Miracle #1 - Skyline girls record first win of the year against Madison...that miracle didn't last long as they lost to Rigby by 32 this afternoon.

Miracle #2 - We found out on Friday that we are having a BOY! Macie kept telling the doctor, "We don't want little boys in our house."

We also wanted to share a clip from Riley's school Christmas Program. We thought it was funny how much more animated she was than most of the other kids.

One Month

Okay, so Violet is technically one month old tomorrow, but it was four weeks yesterday so close enough. Four Weeks Old

Morgan and our Little Tree
There's a good reason most people in Vegas have fake trees. Our tree has been up for three days and it's about 75% dried out. The little needles are just haning on for dear life. Next year we're definitely going fake.

Violet and Morgan's favorite doll.

Whenever I'm taking care of Violet, Dolly gets the same treatment from Morgan. I love that they're the same size.

Sisters

Camo Baby - you'll never see her coming!

Andrew Arrives

You should be getting an email with our Christmas newsletter. In the newsletter are some pictures of Andrew. The quick recap:
I arrive home ~6:00pm on Thursday. Adri says,"We're having a baby tonight." We drop the kids off and get to the hospital at 7:00. The midwife checks Adri at 7:20. We are immediately wheeled into a delivery room. She has her water broken at 7:40. Andrew is born after about 3 good pushes at 8:00. He weighs 7 pounds 6 ounces and is 19.5 inches long. It was almost anti-climatic.

The one thing was that after the birth Adri was bleeding some. Everyone remained calm and professional, as if there was nothing to worry about, but eventually they had about 6 different doctors in there and were talking about 'holding off that other C-section'. After a little medication and some discussion things stopped basically on their own, so it did turn out to be no big deal. But it was a little surreal.

Mom had the Group B Strep, so both stayed at the hospital for 48 hours. Everyone is doing fine.

Cruise In Review

Cruise in review. I (Val) decided it would take too long to tell all the stories, but we can share them in person when we see you next. It's always better that way, right? Some comments by Todd; some by me. And there is no order to these pictures. We hit Labadee first, then Jamacia. I think the choking happened on the last day at sea.

Kayaking trip in Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Our Jamaican driver - Clarence. He was showing off the wild Poinsettia.

Todd and I had to sit in the front with him. I was practically on this man's lap for the bumpy ride through the streets of Jamaica. Todd forgot to mention that while in Jamaica he got offered Marijuana, beer, and porn, while the rest of us didn't. He must look like the adventerous type.
Valerie and I took second and third in the free throw competition.

The beach in Labadee, Haiti.

The globe. Dad was VERY proud. It's like the leg lamp in "The Christmas Story." Just ask mom.

At the port in Haiti.

My first experience with escargot - not bad!

Mom and dad wanted to take a lot of kissing pictures. It was wierd.

Dale skies for a rebound!

I like this one because it looks like I'm jumping higher than I really am.

Tight quarters. When we first went into our rooms, Mom squealed with delight, "It's like a floating RV!"

Todd's plate during the "incident". Todd and Dale had to excuse themselves to the men's room where Todd got on his knees, Dale took a wide stance, and then proceeded to give Todd the heimlich. Todd barfed up the piece of steak and then returned to the table to finish his second main course and his two desserts. (All preceeded by three appetizers.)

Shawn and Deion were regulars on the basketball court. Yeah...Todd and Dale really took it to the ten-year-olds.

My attempt at spicing up the belly flop competition failed misearably and drew boo's from the crowd.

The Dodgeball Tournament got pretty intense!
