Best Big Brother
Jack takes his role as big brother seriously and is in love with Kate. He's constantly asking what he can do to help with her. He holds her hand when she's eating or getting changed.
He sits with her whenever she is in the swing or bouncy seat.
He talks and sings to her and gives her the pacifier when she is sad. While he says he doesn't speak baby, he is very attentive to what she coos to him.

There's No Place Like Home
Yesterday morning Kate got dolled up because we were getting discharged from the hospital. I had been there since Monday and I think everybody in our family was ready for us to get home.
She didn't make a peep in her car seat. When we got home there were balloons, decorations, and flowers as well as two big brothers to greet us.
At first they showed absolutely no interest in her. They were more concerned with being with mommy. But a little while later, they were enthralled with her and have turned into super loving and helpful big brothers.
They like to get anything I need for her and just watch her. They also like picking out her clothes.
We are settling in slowly. Kate loves to eat and so we are adjusting to that and trying to make sure the big brothers are getting the attention they need too. We are so grateful Nana has been here to help us this week. She has been an absolute life saver and we couldn't have done it all without her. All in all we are super happy to be all together again.

And loves to snuggle and make lots of noises.

Daddy's Day
Our superhero daddy was able to spend Father's Day with us. He was gone for work and wasn't supposed to get back until Sunday night. But luckily they finished early and he was home by Saturday afternoon. As soon as he got home, Luke immediately showed him the present they had made him. It was a snack jar with their handprints painted on it. We had hidden it to give him on Father's Day, but Luke was just too excited.
We love our daddy and made him breakfast and dinner. Jack made him a picture frame in Primary. It was fun just being with him all day since he's been gone for the last week. His boys love hlm and we know his little girl will too soon.

Water Park
With baby just two weeks away (!), we are trying to do fun summer activities now that will hard with a newborn. So today we went to the water park with a group from the ward. The boys loved the little slides and just had a blast climbing and swimming. They are definitely water babies!

Library Stars
Check out our library stars! They finished the summer reading program at our library in just one week. They received all kinds of free passes to do things like mini golf and eat out. And they have the sweet yard sign to show off their awesomeness!

Handy Man
Dallin has been busy and definitely outdid himself this time.
Here are the before pictures. I didn't get a formal shot, but instead had to dig up some old pictures
A work in progress:
We had a hole in our dining room for a few hours!
Dallin had a really good helper who was very into the whole project
And it's in - a French door!
Dallin is amazing! He removed everything himself, rewired the electrical and installed the door with only the help of his trusty assistant Jack. We love the new doors and how they open up the dining room so much more!

The End of the Season
Tonight was the final game of the season for the Cowboys! Jack had a great season and improved a lot, especially in his hitting. He's much more aggressive and focused now and knows how the game works. We are so proud of #31!
