Procrastination...Part 2 of 3

Ta-Da!  Here is the second installment of my update...

January came and went with little fanfare.  We were busy doing everyday stuff.

Playing with numbers on the fridge.
Playing in a fort on a sick day.
Looking out the window at the snow.

February is the month of love!  We love to love in our house!  PC and I got away the week before to a little bed and breakfast in Salt Lake.  It was great to get away for a night.

Valentine's Day was pretty low key.  It brought flowers, a sick little girl, and snuggles with Grammie.

Flowers and chocolates for me...teddy bear for Little Miss C.

Sick baby on Valentine's Day!

Grammie's snuggles make it all better.
The end of February found PC and me in Walt Disney World.  PC's parents were good enough to take care of our baby while we were away.  We traveled with my parents, siblings and their spouses.  We had a fabulous time!!

Happiest place on Earth!

Cinderella's Castle

Epcot Center
March signaled the beginning of Spring.  Spring is a crazy thing here where we live.  Sometimes it's a lion, sometimes it's a lamb.  Easter day was a lamb.  We went to church, played with our baskets, ate dinner with family, and had enough chocolate to last forever!

The Easter Bunny brought a caterpillar puzzle, more binkies...

...and chocolate filled eggs!

Num-num!!

She didn't need any help opening the chocolate.

Double fisting it is the only way to go!
 Happy, happy Easter!

Procrastination...Part 1 of 3

I am slowly making my way through the list of things that have been sorely neglected.  Our blog is among those things.

I spent a little over an hour going through our recent pictures.  When I looked at the file I had compiled, it was about 60 pictures.  Wow!  I thought that it would be less painful for those reading to split it up.  So, this is the first of three posts.

In November we did our civic duty and voted.  I was able to do mine by absentee ballot ( so easy with a baby!) while PC actually went to the polls.  He brought his sticker home to us and Little Miss C put good use to it!

It's a good place for a sticker.

Our first real snow came in NovemberI got Little Miss C already to go out, as any good mommy would.  She didn't really like the cold snow.  I don't blame her.  I don't really like it either.

She'd rather play with my phone than the snow - it's not cold and wet.
My little sister from Texas came to visit us.  I didn't find any pictures of her visit.  I'm such a bad sister.  I will be better next time.  Sorry Rach!

We spent Thanksgiving with PC's family.  There was lots of food and lots of family!  I made these cute little turkeys to take.  We're festive like that.

So cute!  So labor intensive!
Movember also came to our house in November.  PC grew a mustache for Men's Health Awareness Month.  I called it The Month of No Lovin'.  Not really, but it was fun to tease him!

Lookin' good Mr. Hottie!
December is one of my all time favorites!!  I made a few new decorations this year.  (I figure that if I can do that every year, we should be in good shape to be totally decked out some day!)

Advent Calendar

New stocking for the family.

The tree decorated by me on the top and undecorated by Little Miss C on the bottom.

I made candy canes out of pony beads so Little Miss C could have something to decorate the tree with.
Sub for Santa is something we have done as a family for the last 3 years.  This year we got to take Little Miss C shopping with us.  Even though she didn't know what was going on, it was fun to do it as a family.

Ready to shop!
There is no question that we were more excited for Santa to come than Little Miss C was!  I couldn't sleep on Christmas Eve.  It's so fun to have babies at Christmas!  We spent the morning at home and then went to PC's parent's house for the afternoon.

Santa came!

Enjoying a little Skippyjon Jones in her new chair.

Can I stand in this?!?

Collecting the loot from her stocking.

Checking out the laptop from Grammie and Papa.

Fascinated by the boxed Little People Princess Castle.  We couldn't get it out of the box fast enough.

Loving the dolly from Grandma and Grandpa!
Pulla!!  That is Christmas to me.
It is safe to say that a good time was had by all.  Oh yeah, PC and I had presents too but no one wants to see pictures of that when the baby is so cute!

Next up...update 2 of 3.  Stay tuned!!

Fall Fun and Happy Halloweening

Compared to last year (a newborn that was sick and a husband that was in school) this year has been packed with fun activities.  We are nowhere near the most festive of my sisters, but we did better this year.

I made a couple of new decorations:

Spooky Ghosts

 We ate fall foods:

We picked pumpkins from a pumpkin patch:

Checking out the options.

Guarding our pumpkins.

Little Miss C and PC at the pumpkin patch.

We visited Gardner Village to take in the ambiance:

Watching the ducks.

Playing with the pumpkins.

Picture op with the monkey hat and Mommy.

Trick or Treating at PC's office:

Little Miss C posing for the occasion.

Playing hide and seek with the other trick or treaters.

Trick or Treating in the neighborhood:
