Fall Fun and Happy Halloweening

Compared to last year (a newborn that was sick and a husband that was in school) this year has been packed with fun activities.  We are nowhere near the most festive of my sisters, but we did better this year.

I made a couple of new decorations:

Spooky Ghosts

Halloween Tree

Tree Decorations

 We ate fall foods:

Pumpkin Waffles (made my PC)

Yummy Caramel Popcorn

Caramel Apples at Gardner Village

We picked pumpkins from a pumpkin patch:

Catching a ride to the pumpkins.

Checking out the options.

Guarding our pumpkins.

We visited Gardner Village to take in the ambiance:

Watching the ducks.

Playing with the pumpkins.

Picture op with the monkey hat and Mommy.

Trick or Treating at PC's office:

Playing hide and seek with the other trick or treaters.

Little Miss C - Updated

There is so much to update!  I can hear the chant, "Pictures, pictures, pictures!" (I think it's coming from Grandma).  So, here they are:

Little Miss C loves to play with her Daddy!
Playing in the pillow pit.

Riding on a blanket (something only Dad does).

Little Miss C loves to help with the housework!
Helping Mom change the sheets on her mattress.

Little Miss C is a champion eater!
She love to eat apples (minus the skin, of course).
She discovered the wonder of spaghetti noodles with the help of PC.
She is working on eating yogurt from a spoon all by herself!

 She has discovered boxes.
Her toy was at the very bottom.
I turned around and found her in the box.  Funny little thing!

Hair, hair, hair!
This how it usually looks when she wakes up.
Cindy Lou Who
This picture doesn't do her curls justice.  So cute!

 New Tricks...
I wonder what our insurance will be!
Smiling for the camera.

Partay!

1 Year Stats
Height:  28.3 inches
Weight: 19.3 lbs

Warning: This is a long post.  I wanted to make sure those that weren't there got to see everything!

Little Miss C turned one year old on Thursday!  PC took the day off on her birthday to celebrate with us.  We went to a working farm to see the animals for the festivities.  We were lucky enough to have my sister and her family here for the week.

Cousins!  Little Miss C LOVED having them at our house!

Aunt Julia let Little Miss C play with the iPhone.  Loved it!

On Saturday, we had a birthday party for Little Miss C.  I might have gone a little overboard with it but it was so fun to plan!  It kept me busy the last couple of months of PC's schooling and homework.  Boy did I have time!

We planned a Very Hungry Caterpillar Party based on the book by Eric Carle.  I think it turned out pretty great if I do say so myself.  :)  Note:  I got most of my ideas off of various sites and put my own twist on them.  Hooray for the internet!

The decorations turned out to be cute, cute, cute!

We had all the food that the caterpillar ate:

Little Miss C's smash cake was an apple and the rest of us had the caterpillar!

The birthday girl had her own special outfit!  (I was very pleased with how the tutu turned out!)

We had fun, fun, fun with cousins!!

All the party-goers made button caterpillars with Grammie.  (Thanks Mom!)

She opened soooo many gifts - all of which she loves!

This is the blanket I made for her.  I just had to show off how cute it turned out!

And then it was cake time!  As you can see, she had no problem getting the hang of it!

As always, the plate ends up being her favorite toy  :)

What a fun birthday!  It was so much fun to see her with her "peeps"!  She loved playing with all of the kids!

Happy birthday, little girl!  We love you!
