Easter Weekend

This weekend was was a blast. The Olsen's came on Friday along with my parents and we had lots of fun. Here are some intense picture of the Easter egg coloring.

Parker, Aiden, and Cason, all had a great time getting into all sorts of trouble. I think Aiden got a little picked on though. On Saturday we went to Snow Canyon. Ivy, Tage, and Savanna came along with Paul's parents and Jessica. So we had lots of fun playing with everyone. We hid lots of eggs and the kids did pretty good at finding them with all the help from the adults.
Here is Savanna, Cason, Tage and Parker with their Easter Baskets all full to the top!
After the Easter egg hunt they all climbed in the hammock with Cody. It was cute to see them all in there together even though I don't think they held still even for a second.
On Sunday after we went to church we went over to the sand dunes. Cason loved playing in the sand and he got it everywhere.
He was crawling all over in it. Doing summer salts and rolling in it. Even eating it like he does everything else.
He even was a good sport about being barried in it. He is the funnest little trouble maker and he makes a laugh all day long.
We just wanted to say thanks to everyone that traveled to be with us this Easter. It was great to have everyone together, and there is nothing better then celebrating wtih family, We love you all.

Hair Cuts

Cason and I both got our hair cut today. If you know Cason at all you know that he has a lot of hair and always has, so at least once every two months he has had to get a hair cut. We still haven't found a way to make this enjoyable for him, in fact I'm pretty sure he think we are torturing him. He is scared to death of the buzzers, but today I held him while we did the buzzers and he got to eat a whole package of M&M's while watching cars, so he would hold still long enough for us to get the job done. As you can see by this picture when we were all done he still had plenty of hair, but he doesn't look like he wants to go through that experience again anytime soon. Too bad in about 6 weeks we will have to do it again!

Don't worry though. He didn't stay mad at us forever. After a bath to get rid of the hair that was on everything and a long 3.5 hour nap he woke up good as new. I'm not kidding when I say three hour nap he really slept that long. I was amazed, but he was happy so I guess I"m fine with that.

Soon he was back to playing and there is nothing that is quite as fun, as chewing on a wire whip and playing with all the pans while dad cooks dinner. I must say that his dad did a great job with his hair cut too. It might be because he has had so much practice because if I count right I think this is his 8th or 9th haircut in his 17 months of being alive!

He definitely is a handful, but we love this little guy so much and he is so much fun!

Husband Tagged

How long have you been together? Married 3 years in April.

How long did you date? Off and On for 5 years.
How old is he? 24 I am older than him by 6 months.

Who eats more? He eats more usually, but dont worry its a close race.
Who said "I love you" first? He did on the 24th of July 2001. Oh boy it freaked me out, but I said it right back:)
Who is taller? He is 6'4 and I am 5'8

Who is smarter? It depends- I always had good grades, but that common sense stuff he really has me beat at.

Who does the laundry? That's me. He is great at getting it in the washing machine, but it stops there.

Who does the dishes? We both do, but I have to say that I do them more, because I am home more.

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does until I roll onto his side and hog the whole bed. Then he gets up and walks around to crawl in on my side! True story, and we have a king size bed too:)

Who pays the bills? Me

Who mows the lawn? What lawn? Oh that tiny little patch- the land lord takes care of that.

Who cooks dinner? It is about even, but Paul's usually tastes better.

Who is more stubborn? That could be a tie, but I would say me. He usually lets me win.

Who kissed who first? Paul kissed me first, but he was so scared he was shaking all over. It was really funny. But we were each other's first kiss.

Who asked who out? That was actually me. It was a girls choice dance in high school.

Who proposed? He did at the St. George temple.

Who is more sensitive? Before we got married it was deffinately him, but since we had our son, I'm the bawl baby instead of him.

Who has more friends? I have more highschool and college friends, but he is better at making new friends and is willing to hang-out with anyone.

Who has more siblings? I do with 2 sisters and 1 brother- he has one of each.
Who wears the pants in the relationship? Paul does even though I would like to think that I do.

Hey babe if you read this just wanted to let you know how much I love you! Now I tag anyone who hasn't done it or wants to -how about Jamie and Crescent!

Warm Weather

Hello,

Well everything is great the Funeral is over and even though it was super hard it was good. Thank goodness for the gospel and the knowledge we have that we will see her again. Also thank goodness for warm weather. We love playing at the park, and its all we can do to keep Cason from running down the slide or going face first. I swear this kid is fearless, but we have so much fun.

I love Park Discovery, and he loves everything about it too. I didnt take pictures, but we went swimming for family home everning last night too and he had a blast. Next time I will have to take pictures. Anyway all is well.

sad news

I haven't posted anything for awhile because I have been very busy. On Sunday my wonderful Grandma Christensen had a stroke. It was very difficult, but I had the opportunity to drive to Idaho Falls with my mother on Monday and say goodbye to her. She passed away later that night and now is with her Father in Heaven once again. The funeral is on Saturday so I am staying with my sister Kim in Salt Lake. My Grandma was a beautiful, loving, happy, hardworking, spiritual, person. We would all be better off if we were a little bit more like she was. She will be greatly missed and she was very loved. Please keep her and our family especailly my Grandfather in your prayers. Love you all, Becca
