Great Little Helper

Our dear little sweetheart found a marker while I was packing some box's. Of course he went right to the wall and drew me an excellent picture. He was so proud of it that he came and got my hand and showed it to me! I of course couldnt be upset because I left the marker out. So I pulled out the scrub brush and he helped me scrub it off the walls.
He was so excited to help that when his dad got home he went and showed his dad how to scrub it off the wall too. Of course it was still there even through I tried all the cleaning supplies I had. The only thing I accomplished was scrubbing quite a bit of the paint off the wall.

He eventually saw how mom was frustrated and threw down the scrub brush when nothing was working to take it off, so he did the same. What a great little helper! Ok now I need some more advice- what takes red and green dry erase marker off of a white wall?

More Pictures

I got my picture CD today and I was really happy with the way they turned out. I got about 75 pictures and the rights so I can print as many as I want and in whatever size I want. Thanks again Justin. Tell me which one's are your favorite because I am going to order some!

Pictures

Last Tuesday we had a picture party. A friend told me about a photographer (Justin Bowen) that was coming into town. We paid for an hour and he took tons of pictures of Cason and also family pictures during that hour. I am so excited about the way they turned out. These are a few that he put on his blog, and now I'm just waiting for the picture CD with all the rest to come in the mail. You can check out his work at www.justbowenstudio.blogspot.com . He really did a great job, so you can call me or e-mail me and I can give you more details if you are interested.

The top one is of Cason and his favorite little duck. He has had it since he was just a few months old. He loves it even though it looks more like a penguin because it has had to be re stuffed, and the legs, and beak sewn back on. He still loves it and sleeps with it every night. The botton one was just of Cason in his true character. Playing in the dirt and with the tires.

Daddy's little fisherman!

Conference Weekend

On Friday we were supposed to be checking the mail, but this is as far as we got-right in front of our house. Cason loves being outside, but he gets distracted so easily. I could have gotten mad at him for jumping in the puddle, but I thought it would be even better to go get the camera. He had a blast even though it was freezing outside and his feet were soaking wet!

We had a great time this Saturday. We stayed home and listened to the morning session of Conference and then went to the park for a picnic in between sessions. Cason had a blast playing soccer with his dad, and then Cadance, Connor, and Nicole came and we all flew kites together. It really was a lot of fun, and a great time doing what this gospel is all about- spending quality time together as a family.

What a poser! Sitting on a water meter in the middle of the dirt!
We went and bought a transformer kite at the dollar store. Cason was so excited to get to pick it out, and he actually did pretty good flying it too.
Cadance did really well flying the kite too, even though she had a few little helpers.
Connor had a good time too, except that it was really sunny so he didnt want to look up at me to get his picture taken.
Nicole and Connor Sanders- Thanks for coming to play with us- we love you guys!

Moving

ok, so it's official. We are moving to Richfield. We are both excited and sad. We will miss our family and all our friends here is Cedar, but Richfield is home to both of us so it feels like we are moving home too. Paul got offered a full time job in GIS(Geographic Information Systems) which is what he is getting his degree in. It worked out that all the rest of his classes he needs he will be able to finish online. I also was able to get a job in the OR(operating room) in Richfield. So everything has kind of fallen into place, so we don't dare pass it up. Cason will get to know his grandparents and some of his great grandparents a little better also. We are moving April 26th so very soon, so this is an invitation to all our friends who might want to get together that we are up for it. We would love to get together with everyone before we move. I guess the lord is blessing us and this is an answer to lots of prayers, so we will see what happens and what he has in store for us.
