Happy Valentines Day

Today for play group we decided to go to Snow Canyon and play in the sand. The kids had a blast. In the picture there is Kelly, Audrey, Jack, Bridger, and Cason. As you can see my boys have no problem getting right in the sand and getting it everywhere. We have loved the nice warm weather, and we have had a very fun valentines day. Now we are just waiting for Paul to get home so we can have some more fun. We are having a heart shaped pizza for dinner!

5k and Dressed for Church

Sunday this is what we woke up too. Cason is getting so big and and so independent. I heard that he was awake in his room and I told him to come out cause we had to hurry to get ready for church and when he came out this is what we saw! I was so proud of him. He had his white shirt and church pants on. He even had his black church socks and his black church shoes. And you have to love his tie! he had it clipped on and everything! Gotta love this boy!

We are so proud of Paul! We have been trying to be healthier and exercise more so Paul told me that he wants to run a half marathon in April. to my surprise the very next day he signed up for a 5k that was just a few days away. So while he was running the 5k ( it was a fund raiser for a boy that had been burned ) the boys and I played on the bounce houses and rode on the train.

Making Valentines

We decided to make our Valentines this year. We used finger paints to put the boys handprints on the hearts and then on the back we put this cute little poem!

Handprint Treasure
I leave my hand print all around
For you to wipe and clean when found
But this print here is a different kind
For everyday right here you'll find
A hand print made especially for you!
One day my hand print will be much bigger
But you'll have this hand print to forever treasure
I made this for you to recall
A time when my hand print was so small.
I Love you!

We had lots of fun making them so if you didnt get a Valentine, just know we love you very much and we hope you have a wonderful Valentines Day!

Rosenburg museam

A couple weeks ago we decided to go to the Rosenberg wildlife museum for playgroup. There are a ton of animals and the boys had a great time running around and seeing all the animals. Its been so fun to have so many other great friend and moms down here, and so many fun things to do and see.

lots of posts

Sorry about posting so many in a row. I have made a blog book that I use a scrapbook and journal and its way easier to just load all the pictures and do everything a month at a time. I put them in the blog kind of sloppy and i dont explain a lot, but then when I put it in the book I organize it and explain a little better. it has been so easy to keep everything organized and up to date. I use the website blurb.com and then use book smart, and I've loved it. Anyway that's my explanation for my crazy posts all at once. January was good, but I'm glad we are all getting better and the weather is getting warmer.

Train tracks and Play Dough

Cason got more train tracks for his birthday so what usually happens is we spend about 1 hour getting all the pieces out, putting it all together, and then about 15 minutes of playing on it and somebody has torn it apart or knocked it down. Its still lots of fun though. The boys have been playing sooo good together lately and its so fun to watch them be best buds.

While Bridger was having a nap Cason and I did playdough. I cant believe how big he is getting. Sorry I forgot to turn the pic.

No more Training wheels!

Cason got a new bike for Christmas, but he decided he didnt want to use training wheels anymore so after we rode to the park one saturday he came home and told Paul to take his training wheels off. We took them off his little bike because we figured it would be easier for him to learn on that bike, and after just about an hour, he had it. Now that is all he wants to do is ride his bike all day long everyday. He is getting so big and we are so proud of him!

Creative Minds

I hope you dont think January was all bad from my previous posts so I had to throw i these pics of the fun things we have done. The weather has been nice so have been to the park several times, but we also went to Creative Minds. Its a cute little place where the kids can dress up, go shopping, build things, dig in sand, etc.. My parents came down for Martin Luther King day. My mom was lucky enough to get to go skiing, and since I couldnt go my dad was nice enough to hand out with me and the boys for the day. We had a great time together- thanks for visiting!

Hair Cuts

If you know our boys at all- you know that they have a lot of hair- and I have been told that the baby has a lot of hair also just from the ultrasound pics- so Its a good thing my husband knows how to cut hair. Its so funny because we have to bribe Cason and he still hates to get his hair cut. But little Bridger loves it. He hold really still. He even found the buzzers in the bathroom once and was pretending to cut his own hair- Thank goodness it wasnt plugged in!

The Rest of the Story

Here is the rest of the story that comes after that last post. Tuesday night after I posted that, we started Bridger on antibiotics and by Wednesday afternoon, his fever was gone. He still had a bad cough and a runny rose, but at least he didn't have the fever with it. Cason also caught that cold or never got over his first cold so January we went through a lot of tissues and cough medicine, but we are on the mend now.

As for me after I posted that story, that night the pain came back. It only lasted about 20 min, but it got me thinking that maybe I hadn't pasted the kidney stones, but I felt ok the rest of the night and then Wednesday afternoon again the pain came back. So I called my doctor and they told me to come in and get an ultrasound. Good news- the baby was great (he even measured a week ahead) Bad news- I have two great big kidney stones in my Right kidney. But the good part is that they are so big that they probably wont move and cause any pain, that bad part is I might have to have Lithotripsy after I have the baby to break them up and get rid of them.

Well Later that night the pain came back and when I say pain I can honestly say it was worse then having a baby ( I will tell you for sure in a few more weeks)! I took 2 Lortab, which I had never taken narcotics before in my life, and I was still in tears, but thankfully sometime I must have past the smaller stone and haven't had more stones to pass since.
On Friday that week I ended up back at the doctor though with a bad kidney infection from all the urine getting backed up in my kidneys. But after a couple days of antibiotics I felt totally fine.

Since then we are doing just fine. I feel great, just very pregnant, and just have to meet with a Urologist after I have the baby to see if I have to have surgery to get the big stones out. I have just under 6 weeks until I'm due and I hope he comes a week early, but I'm not planning on it. I just hope we don't have any more surprises until he get here!
