2 weeks old/ more pictures

Our friend Hayley came over last Saturday (Treyden was 13 days old) and took some pictures for us so we could get a baby announcement made. They aren't perfect, but I think they turned out pretty good, and of course I think little Trey is just perfect! Oh and we had an appointment yesterday and Trey is now a whopping 10lbs. It doesn't surprise me though because he sure does like to eat! Let me know what pics are your favorite and they will probably go on the announcement after some editing.

Introducing TREYDEN!!!

WARNING: This is a long story with lots of pictures that are out of order because I don't want to take the time to rearrange them- but I hope you enjoy!

Here is the story of Treyden. On Tuesday morning (2/28/11) at about 2:30 I woke up with some pretty hard contraction so I started timing them and by about 630 they were every 6 minutes apart so I was sure I was going into Labor. I went into the bathroom and proceeded to get ready, and they stopped. I was so bummed all day about it, but was looking forward to Friday to my doctors appointment to see what he would say. On Friday I was dilated to a 4 and 90% effaced so he stripped my membranes and hoped it would work. All Friday evening i was having contractions, but from about 10 until 3am they were every 10 min. apart, but wouldn't get any closer, and then they finally stopped. So again Saturday morning I was kinda bummed and couldn't sleep so I woke up early and made Bridgers birthday cakes because we decided last minute to celebrate his 2nd birthday that night. All day Saturday I had contractions off and on, but nothing consistent. So we celebrated Bridgers birthday and went to bed. My parents had pulled their Trailer down and parked it at Snow Canyon, but they didn't get good cell service out there so my mom decided to sleep at our house just in case.
Sure enough just like Bridger (Bridger was 9 days early and my water broke at 6:00 am) at 9 days early 3/6/11 at 5:30am my water broke. It was just like Bridger not a big gush like the movies, enough that I hopped out of bed and said my water just broke and that was it -just a tiny little gush, but then the contractions started and within an hour they were every 4-5 minutes apart. We went and told my mom and off we went.
We got to the hospital around 6:30. They checked me and said that yes my membranes had ruptured and that I was dilated to a 6. They moved me to another room, admitted me, and tried to start my IV. 4 tries later the contraction were about every 3 minutes apart, and I decided I didnt want to be tough this time and got my epidural around 930. Which I must say after having Kidney stones I really think Kidney stones might be worse, and I definitely think Epidurals are heavenly!
Well by then I was dilated to a 7 and they checked me and said that I still had a bag of water that needed to be broken. I guess I had what is called a pre-bag or for-bag and that is what had broken at home. So they called my doctor who was great by the way (Dr. Chalmer's) and he came in and broke my water and said I was about a 9 at that point. About 5 contractions later and I was dilated to a 10 and ready to push. They epidural was great because I could still feel each contraction and that I needed to push, but the pain was tolerable. So just 2 contractions and 4 pushes and out popped Treyden!

Treyden Roy Damron
Born March 6, 2011 at 11:34
8lbs 13 oz
20.5 inches long
lots of dark hair and chubby cheeks too (oh and rolls all ready)!

He did wonderful and they handed him right to me! He was nice and pink and screaming right from the start! We got to spend sometime in that room and then they moved us up to the mom baby floor. He gave us a little scare with his blood sugar, because he was so big he had a hard time regulating it, but other then that was doing wonderful! I was doing great too except my left leg was completely numb. I don't know why but the epidural made my left leg so numb that I couldn't move it at all, ( infact Paul actually dropped it after Trey came out and it slammed down against the bed) even though my right leg was totally normal.

Later that evening Cason and Bridger got to come and see him, but just through the glass they seemed pretty excited, but Cason didn't say much and Bridger just kept giggling. Trey did really good Saturday night even though they circumcised him and then we were able to go home Sunday afternoon, on Bridger's 2nd birthday.
The timing of it all couldn't have been better and the pediatrician I wanted (that has a 3 year waiting list) was on call so he agreed to take Trey and the other boys anyway. It really worked out great! Having 3 has been an adjustment, but Paul worked yesterday because my parents were still in town and today he took the day off so I have had lots of help. Paul's mom is coming Monday so we are excited for her to get to come too! We are just so happy that he is here and healthy and we are all doing so good!

Sorry the pics are out of order!

Bridger is 2!

I had to put these pictures on of Bridger's Birthday before I put on all the pictures of Trey! It was a last minute birthday party because we didn't plan it until that morning, but we knew the Sanders were coming down for Chips family stuff, but weren't sure if they would have time to see us. They called and said they would stop by in the evening so Saturday. So Saturday morning I couldn't sleep and we had almost gone to the hospital the night before because I was having contractions every 10 min apart, but they never got closer. Anyway I was nervous that he was coming soon so I called my parents and invited them down early (because they were planning on coming Monday anyway) they said yes! So Saturday night the 5th of March we had a little Bar-B-Que and celebrated Bridger's 2nd Birthday! He got lots of toys and had a baseball and football cake. It was perfect timing because my mom decided to sleep at our house instead of out in the trailer at snow canyon (they didnt get good service out there), and its a good thing she did because my water broke at 5:30 and you know the rest of the story- Baby Treyden was here!

crazy boys

The other day the boys were being crazy, wow it will be even crazier with 3! Bridger was marching around with a bucket on his head, and Cason was being crazy! We do have quiet moments though like when Cason is being an artist. He drew this picture of a truck all by himself and also built this house by himself. I cant believe he is getting so big!
