June 8th is the Queens birthday and so we had a holiday. We picked up a booklet of 40 great walks around South Australia and this was one that we had been wanting to do but had to wait until it had rained enough to actually be a waterfall. This state park was beautiful and the walk was really pretty short. We really enjoyed our time here. It is winter time and it has rained ALOT this year which I guess is unusual. So everything is so lush and green. This is the beginning, just getting ready to head off on the walk. But we weren't going up, for the walk. We just liked this spot.

This is the "walls" of the walk. It was so green and just no rhyme or reason to where anything grew. This is the sides of where we were walking on the trail.

A little meandering stream that was the whole way.

Can you guess what this might be a picture of? It was actually one of the things I loved best about this walk. There is a Koala in the tree. Looks like a dot in the middle of the picture. It is the first Koala that was actually in the wild and not purposely placed there that we have seen. There were actually 2 that we saw at this park.

The bark just peeling off the tree. I don't know what the deal is with the 2 fingers. Carlee loves peace signs and is calling herself a hippie with her friends so it was her idea to do.

A little cave that was just off the beaten path. There were ALOT of stairs to climb to get to it.

In the cave looking out.

Just at the top of all the stairs coming into the cave.

Just some of the greenery.

This kind of tree was everywhere in the park and reminded me of a hula dancer whenever we saw them.

What we came to see. It you know me very well I LOVE waterfalls and always have. This one was no disappointment. It is beautiful.
