Easter- The girls were very excited for the Easter bunny to come.

The kids with their loot
We had dinner at my parents house after church. It was really nice and relaxed. We decided to go simple and BBQ.
My parents gave the girls these adorable chick bags with goodies and cute little furry chicks.
My dad also hid eggs for the girls to find.
Then we went to the Gough's for another Easter egg hunt. The weather was bad but let up just for the egg hunt.
Here are all the kids lined up ready to go outside

Then it got really cold so we had the big boy Easter egg hunt inside the house. The big boys lined up in the hall also (didn't get a picture) and while they pushed their way down the hall Dad Gough got his arm cut on the light switch.

School's out for the summer. We love having Dustin home more. A few weeks before school got out Dustin got some great news about his teaching schedule next year. He will be teaching ESL! He will take classes every Wednesday night for 2 years to get endorsed. I couldn't be happier. That is more job security. He also got a new calling in church. He has been serving as Elder's quorum 1st counselor. He is now the teachers quorum advisor. I think he will be fantastic. I do feel bad because Young Men's is on Wednesday night so he will only be able to go to the activities when he doesn't have class. He will teach them each Sunday.
Emma also finished her first year (actually 1/2 year since she only went from January to May) of preschool. I am thrilled at everything she learned in such a short time. A couple of weeks ago she was sitting on my lap and talking to me. Here is how our conversation went:
Emma: Mom your heart is right here (pointing to my chest)
Me: You are right Em.
Emma: My heart is right here (pointing to her chest)
Me: Yep. You are so smart
Emma: (Putting her hand on her heart) "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
Me: (Tears streaming down my face) I love you Em.
She is one smart cookie. I love how she thinks she can read. She gets a book and follows with her finger and says something or sings a song. The other night we did family scriptures at Grandpa and Grandma Gough's house. When it was the little ones who can't read turn, Grandma Gough told them to repeat after her. Emma wouldn't do it. Later I asked her why and she said she didn't have a book. I thought that was very observant.
I planted some flowers in our yard. This sounds so pathetic but I am 30 and have never planted anything. I LOVE them. I get so happy when I pull up and see my beautiful flowers.

Dustin is continually working on our yard and exterior house things. The other day he took down the satelite that was here when we bought the house. I love not having extra cords, etc. on the house.
Emma and Mya still have their love/hate relationship. Somedays they play so good together and others they fight over toys all day. Their favorite thing right now is one of them is the mom. She has to have a backpack on and carry a cradle with the baby in it sleeping. While the other one is the family dog. They switch off and it is way too cute. A few weeks ago it was Emma as the mom while Mya was the baby. Love when they play together.
Holden is 12 weeks old. He is such a sweet and pretty easy going baby. He has been smiling at us for a few weeks and it is absolutely contagious. He is VERY ticklish and LOVES his sisters. He grins from ear to ear when they sit and talk to him. He is a good sleeper.
Think that is about it for now.
