8 Month Stats

Dear Trystan,
Oh how you have changed our lives for so much good! Your brother told you the other day "I'm super glad you were born!" Aren't we all! You are such an angel and sweetheart. You are Daddy's cupcake and Brayden will tell anyone this as well.
- Sleeping: You are still a great sleeper! Thank you! You are in bed by 7:30/ 8 at the latest and sleep until about 6 when you roll around and want your pacifier. If I can run upstairs and get it in before you wake up your brother, you both will sleep until 7 a.m. You love a morning nap exactly 2 hours after you get up. And need a good 2-3 hour afternoon nap after lunch sometime.
- Eating: We have moved through most fruits and have found you are allergic to peaches. Everything else you seem to enjoy. We have started mixed veggies and mixed fruits- and a little meat, that you don't care for AT ALL!
- Clothes and Diapers: Wearing size 9-12 month clothes (and ready for 12 month clothes) and size 4 diapers
- Favorites: You love holding anything and putting it in your mouth. You are a VERY talkative baby and love to talk to yourself or anyone/anything that will listen. You're favorite thing to do is blow bubbles...big, drool filled bubbles! You finally started moving around- you will roll continously and started pushing backwards with your arms to slide. You can get about anywhere you would like, just no forward movement yet. You are pushing up on all 4's when you are mad or stuck in a corner.
- Firsts:
6/30 Held bottle and fed yourself
7/3 learned to push backwards very effectively
7/4 1st Fourth of July
7/6 Sat up in grocery cart for your 1st time
7/8 first time sitting up in a high chair at a restaurant
7/14 started saying "mama" but not directly at me
7/18 saying "baba"
7/15 first time in a grocery cart with Brayden
