I know it has been awhile since my last post but what can i say, life is busy around here! I got a huge surprise on November 1st. This is how it all began.
So Dane, Adilyn and I had a family date night on Saturday, November 1st. We went to Red Lobster and were enjoying the amazingly delicious food. Right when we get our food, Dane starts talking about Hawaii and how awesome it would be to go on vacation. I was just nodding in agreement while eating. Not thinking anything about it because we have talked off and on about going to Hawaii for the past few months now. I knew we couldn't afford it so it obviously was not a option. Then he started talking to Adilyn about it. Which i thought, OK that's a little weird... he wouldn't want to get her all excited about nothing. He kept pushing it. Saying we should go to Hawaii. I kept thinking to myself, why is he pushing this? I was completely confused until he said, Adilyn you will have so much fun in Hawaii. Immediately i was like WHAT?! and he is just staring at me, smiling. I was shocked and very very confused. I kept asking, are we going to Hawaii?! and he just kept smiling! When it was clear to me it wasn't a joke, i started crying. In the middle of the restaurant. He then tells me we are leaving in 12 days, I was ecstatic!
He had been planning this trip with his parents for a few months and didn't tell me anything. It was such a wonderful surprise!
We left on the 13th and were there for a week, It was amazing. We visited Oahu first and then we went to Maui. This was the first time i had been on a plane with Dane and the first time ever Adilyn had been on a plane. We all had such a wonderful time. We did many things and had lots of fun with Grandma and Grandpa. By far one of the best experiences with our sweet little family!
