caught in the act...

This kid loves to climb. Especially where he's not supposed to... I guess he was just thirsty.

Summer shorts and using the force

We had a great weekend down in St. George for Danny's choir. They sang at the St George Tabernacle and at the amphitheater at Zions. We had a great time. It was a little hot for me, but we hit the pool, played at the park, biked in Zions, played with Grandma and Grandpa, and visited friends and family.

Grandpa had fun teaching William all kinds of new tricks. Have you seen this commercial? While waiting in the parking lot after dinner one evening, William learned how to lock and unlock the car...

He was so proud of himself!

On a side note, I had some fun sewing for William before we left. I've been working on lot's of projects and found this pattern on one of my new favorite blogs, dana-made-it.com. I added pockets and had to tweak them a little bit because the pattern is 2T-3T. I had initially intended them to be pants, but I figured he wouldn't wear too pants all too often at the moment and turned them into shorts. It's a fun and easy pattern and with so many girl patterns out there it was fun to find a pattern I can use for my cute boy!

Happy Late Memorial Day Weekend

Late as usual with the update, we had a great Memorial Weekend. We got so much done, too! We were able to visit some of our grandparents' graves and even put latis up on our balcony so William can play out there without being able to drive his cars off the edge!

Here are some of the highlights...

On Sunay we all got together to celebrate Grandpa's birthday. We managed to get all the grandkids together for a picture with him. There are six at the moment with Spencer and Andrea expecting a boy in October. Woo hoo! Kensie remains the lone girl... she's so great! I don't know what we'd do with out her. All the little guys just love her.Landon and Thomas helped Grandpa blow out the candles. The smolder:

The older cousins were having a sleepover with Grandma and Grandpa that night and got in the hot tub, so William decided to join them! William doing one of his favorite signs... bath!

Then on Monday we got together with all the Youngs again to go to the Zoo!

William pushed his stroller around, up and down the hills, almost completely circling the zoo!

The dinosaurs scared Thomas at first, but Grandpa come to the rescue and Thomas had a great time running around with him!Lincoln measures up...

The dinosaurs were pretty cool!

And last but not least, William LOVED the merry-go-round!!
