The Nevilles

This year I decided to really make sure Austin had more to do, since he'll be a year late going into Kindergarten because of his birthday. He has been going to speech classes this last year and we are happy to see his progress. But those classes are just three times a month for just 75 min. So we recently enrolled him in soccer camp for this month and after that he will have the chance to be in a soccer league for 4-5 year olds. He had been so excited that sometimes he forgets that there's no practicing inside the house. Danny is going to coach his team this year.

Some poses, big smiles and a show time for our crazy little guy. We love his big smile and expressions. Of course his dad got him dad's favorite team jersey, FC Barcelona, and favorite footballer, Lionel Messi.

On January 10th Melany had her second B-Day. I can't believe how fast time went with our second child, so I'm kind of scared how it will be with the third one. Her favorite saying right now is "all by myself!" Danny was pretty busy with work, church and other stuff, so I figured I'd try to make something simple for the family. Well I thought I would be able to do it with my big tummy and two kids and I did, but I was done after that day. I tried to make the same recipe for frosting that I used another time but I failed twice and I couldn't understand way; the only good thing that happened during my attempts is that Austin was with me and tried to make me feel good saying...Mommy, you are really good at this. I just laughed! Finally I called to ask Danny to grab a couple of tubs of frosting on his way home.

This year we had the chance to go Christmas tree hunting together with the family and play with the cousins. Sadly we didn't have the opportunity to choose the tree together since the cars didn't get too far, so the men had to pick the trees by themselves. Danny did a great job choosing our tree.

Meanwhile I was stuck with two kids, one that wasn't happy at all for a while and the other one wanting to slide with mom that wasn't able to walk in the snow for more than five minutes without the urge of going pee. But I made it work, and in the end of the day both were happy.

What do I do when I have to rake the leaves and take care of the kids at the same time? Make a deal... I let you make a mess and you help me to clean it up later!

And it works perfect! They loved it and I really appreciate the help once they're done playing.

I'm trying to update the blog since it will be busy around here in another month. And I thought about putting updates from whatever is in the camara from the last few months. These are some pictures of Austin's B-Day from September, yes... September.

Austin loved every minute of his party. Well, Who wouldn't when you have the chance to spend time with all your best friends at the same time?
