Cool Cows
We went to a cool place called Gruyere. Pretty cool buildings and cobblestone streets with little shops and restaurants. We ate cheese fondue like stuff and fresh raspberries with double cream. YUM!
Most of the windows have windowboxes with pretty flowers. Even this time of year, they look so nice.
There are so many ancient buildings with beautiful outlooks. The pictures looks weird because the weather has been misty... so not too clear.
On the way to Gruyere, we ran into this parade. In the spring, the cows are herded up on the mountain. In the fall, they are rounded up and come down the mountain. The best cows have the biggest bells and they are all dolled up with flowers and they each have a name tag. They are rounded up by the local people who the cows belong too. Pretty cool cows!

Beautiful Switzerland
Switzerland is so beautiful. There are so many places to go and so many things to see! Most people get around by trains or bikes. Street signs like this are everywhere!
This cemetary was pretty cool. We are always intrigued by cemetaries in other places. This one was neat because you were able to plant what you wanted around the headstone and take care of it the way you wanted. Some of them had neat little stone things with water in them and a brush besides---to clean it when you come to visit. I wish our cemetaries would let you do this.
Everything was so green and the mountains, just breathtaking!!
We visited a few chapels and the artwork and woodwork are just amazing. I cannot imagine the work involved to achieve this.
This is just one of the awesome hotels. The flowers along all the balconies are so pretty. I wonder how they keep them so alive looking?

After returning from our trip to Victoria BC, here are my top things to share with you.

Cathedral Grove. 800 year old trees and much taller than any other tree I have ever seen.
Super scrumptious food and salmon every single day!
Nanaimo Bars
That's not all. Visiting with our dear friends Dan and Noreen, visiting Scott, Cathy and their kids, and having a great time with Mardell and Mary. Now I can't wait until our next time there!

Kinda SAD around here
The kids got back from Cancun and stole my little ones away from me. RUDE! We had so much fun. Its so quiet around here and I am already really missing them. Hopefully it won't be too long til we see them again. These kids ARE the cutest thing ever! No Battle
