A Fun Moment

As I was emptying the dishwasher this morning Seth grabbed the colander and placed it on his head.  Of course I grabbed the camera and this is what I got.

Such a cute kid!!!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Madilyn's preschool class took a field trip to an actual pumpkin patch.  Since we live amongst a vast amount of farm land it was no surprise that this pumpkin patch was out in the country on someone's house property.  The pumpkin patch was right in their backyard.

We were able to select a pumpkin to take home with us.  Most of the pumpkins were on the smaller side and lots of them had bumps on the outside (like the one in these pictures).

The best quote of the day was from a little girl named Mary.  She was looking for her pumpkin and her mom kept asking "how about this one?"  As Mary noticed the bumps on the outside of the pumpkins she replied "they look like Cheetos Mom!"

We had a great time and are now enjoying our pumpkin.

iPhone Photos

Needless to say I'm a bit behind in the blogging world.
Life with 3 kids is much different then life with 2 kids.
I don't get as much done as I used to.  So, things fall behind...like my blog.

However, I do occasionally snap some pictures of crazy things with my iPhone.
Thank goodness for updated technology!!!

Here we have Madilyn getting ready to jump in the pool.
Not quite sure what she is doing, but it's pretty funny.

Seth likes to go inside the dog kennel.  It's just a fenced circle in our family room.
One day he went inside and shut the door with the dog inside too.  I love the look of the dog's face.

I got an idea from my aunt about taking two t-shirts and sewing them together to make a dress for Madilyn.  So, one day when I actually had some free time I did it.
Here is Madilyn posing in her new dress.

Michael began Cub Scouts a few weeks ago.
This was his first time attending and he was so excited to get a Cub Scout shirt.

So, other then the normal daily routines, life is pretty boring around here.  Thankfully we have Holidays and birthdays coming up so maybe I'll be able to keep the blog updated more.

But, no promises.  =)

We CUT the RED Hair!

Seth had his very first haircut.  Done by none other then myself.  I did an ok job.
I didn't jack it up too much.  I like the styling that I did after I was done.
Don't worry, I don't style it like this every day.

And here are my two cute boys!

Seth Turns 1 Year Old!

Seth had a birthday!  Last month!  HA!
I'm a bit behind in blogging about it...sorry.

It's true, this kid is now 1 year old!
I know I say this all the time, but I really can't believe how fast the time goes by.

Seth had more fun with the wrapping paper then with the actual presents.  He does however like the actual presents now that I have opened them and thrown the wrapping paper away.

Seth says a few words such as "Mom, Dad, Night Night and Baby".
He is crawling all over the place and stands up holding onto the coffee table.
He loves his brother and his sister and is a happy kid all the time.

Also, he still has red hair...

First Day of School 2012

The first day of school has arrived!
We are starting a bit early this year, not sure why, but our first day was yesterday, August 9.

Michael is now in 2nd grade.
He was very excited to get back to school.

He's holding up two fingers for "2nd" grade.

Madilyn didn't want to take a picture with her brother.
Now it's documented.

Here is a happier Madilyn getting ready for her first day of Pre-K.

Both kids had a wonderful first day of school.
It's going to be a great year!
