I made Esther this cowgirl dress for our trip to "Frontier Days" in Cheyenne, WY on the way to our family reunion in Breckenridge, CO.

Frontier Days in Cheyenne, WY. We were hoping to see some rodeo type stuff, but it was way expensive and the kids didn't have the attention span for it. So, we saw some cattle roping instead, went to the Indian village and walked down the "shop" walk.

Then the real fun began. While we were in the Indian Village to see a war dance and this huge hail started falling from the sky! It hailed HARD for at least a half an hour. We were all huddled in a bathroom with about 20 other people trying to stay safe and dry. Elliot kept saying, "I told you we should have gone to the car." Our little meteorologist. He still has bad dreams about weather and gets all anxious when it looks like it's going to rain.

It was my birthday while we were in Cheyenne. Darin snuck out after we were all in bed and got some decorations and fixed up the room.

We went to the Garden of the Gods to see what it was like before our trip to the North Pole the next day. We wanted to come back here a couple days later to do a hike or two.

The North Pole, a kiddie amusement park in Colorado Springs, CO. It has awesome rides that are aimed just for kids and most kids can ride on most rides, even Seth! Grammie and Grandfer met up with us here to go on rides with us. We had a great time! Grandparents are FREE!
Aren't they having fun?
ANOTHER spinning ride! My stomach was in agony! and all right after lunch!
The "hurl a whirl". This ride made me SOOO sick! Grandfer kept calling it the "hurl a whirl" and the kids really thought that was what it was called. So they kept referring to it as that throughout the day. Ha ha!
Seth got some ferris wheel action.
Esther met Snow White. I think Esther's dress is prettier than this Snow White's!
We met Santa Claus!
The "North Pole" It was a pole of ice in the middle of the park.

The Garden of the Gods in Colorado Spring, CO. beautiful!
