Here's a little update of my kids. I'm hoping to start blogging every Sunday. I will also make my annoying music optional so you don't have to hurt your ears every time you read my blog.

Last weekend we took the kids to the park. We stopped off and got KFC on the way and had a picnic. It was so awesome. We went to Merlon Olsen Park and all the trees were colorful and dropping there leaves. We enjoyed our lunch then we went over to the playground and played with the kids. Here's a pic of Darrel and Joseph really getting into the swing of things. Here's a picture Darrel took of Me and Zarin. I just love this little guy. He's so funny he always tries to make you laugh. His latest antics, he'll sneak into treats and when you catch him he'll run up to you and say "thank you mom" and give you a kiss. Like it was your idea all along that he have this wonderful treat he snuck into. He also loves to say sorry for anything and everything that goes wrong. If you spill a cup of milk he'll say "Sorry Mom" and give you a kiss to make it all better. And his favorite thing to say when things do go wrong is "Oh Snap". I have no idea where he got it from but it is so cute. I can't believe he's already two! He's so smart he know's his colors, ABC's, and Numbers 1-10 his favorite song is twinkle twinkle little star and his favorite cartoons are Thomas the train, Dora, Strawberry Shortcake, and Diego.
Wow what to say about this kid :) He's a character. As you can see he has a shaggy mop on his head. He grew his hair out for 6 months! So he could be Link from the adventures of Zelda. It has since then been cut I'll post a pic next week. He loves to read and just finished the book "The Candy Shop Wars" He loves being creative and if you give him a couple of fridge boxes he'll have fun for hours making slides and huts for his little brother and sister to play in. He recently started learning the piano and is catching on really fast. He's good at helping his mom when she's stressed (which is a lot) and he loves to cook. He loves playing Nintendo wii, and playing imagination outside in the forest.
Here is my little princess. She is such a joy in our lives. She loves playing dress up and barbies. Her dad just recently built her a loft bed and she likes to have friends over and they play imagination in her room with her dress ups and her castle/bed. She is taking ballet and is so much fun to watch when she dances. She absolutely loves to dance and also currently started playing the piano. Her very very best friend is her cousin Gracie and when there together there inseparable. She loves playing with makeup and nail polish (although mom won't let her wear it in public for a long time) Mom loves mother daughter dates and playing with her hair and making her outfits. She just needs to stay a little girl a while longer and not grow up too fast.
Isn't this picture gorgeous. She lost two of her bottom teeth and her two front teeth. Were teaching her the two front teeth song to sing at the Christmas parties this year :)
This kid just loves playgrounds I think he'd live here if we'd let him. As you can see his hair is also long, however we won't be cutting it anytime soon. He has two (yes two) calicks in the back of his head and if his hair is short they stick strait up.
Here are two cakes I made yesterday. I had a cake to make for an auction I helped with at the kids school. I donated the cake and ended up making this for a 7 year old boy who likes army camo. I'm really happy with how it turned out. I was a little nervous about the camo.
This cake was for Darrel's cousin Ariel. Please ignore the messy kitchen. Two cakes in one day my kitchen now looks like a tornado ran right through it. But I have to say Zarin is especially enjoying all the marshmallow fondant scraps. You can't see it very good but a piano keyboard goes along the whole back of the cake. I just can't believe I did both cakes in one day. These are about the fourth and fifth fancy cakes I've ever done. I think I'm improving with each cake.

Happy Birthday Zarin! My little boy turned 2 June 29th. He is such a joy in our lives. Here's a few things about Zarin.

His favorite song to sing (and he sings it every chance he gets): Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
His favorite treats: Popsicles and Juice
His favorite game: Peek a boo
He LOVES water! We went to the lake just this last week and his jaw dropped when he saw all that water. He even went out on the boat and rode the tube. He didn't want to get off!
His best friends are Lydie, Joshua, and Katie
He loves his little tyke car he got for his birthday it's his favorite toy.
He loves loves loves his brother and sister and calls Kimi.... Mimi and Joseph.... Dodo
He still absolutely loves his pacifier
He hates Milk

On his birthday the house was sooo crazy we had like every kid in the neighborhood over to play and when they all saw the cake I was making they asked if they could have some. So when it was time to cut the cake I let them all in and there was plenty to go around. This cake tasted really good I made it out of allrecipes recipe with cherry chocolate cake, lemon cake, and chocolate cake. The fondant was made out of marshmallows and powdered sugar and where it was a bit sweet at least it wasn't greasy. It was very enjoyable and I'm happy to say we didn't have any leftovers.
We were so lucky to have Sumo Joshua and Sherri visit for the party. They were staying with us till the Whipple family camp out which happened to actually get moved to Utah lake but were glad they could be with us anyways. I though Joshua made a really cute sumo baby.

Here are some pictures of the easter egg hunt we went to at Grandmas. My kids absolutely love going over to grandmas house and they had so much fun hunting for eggs and treats. We wanted to do the hunt outside however April has brought a ton of snow so we did the easter egg hunt inside. After grandma and grandpa Brown's house we came home and I made a bunch of freezer strawberry jam :) I love canning it feels like such an accomplishment. Yesterday I got the springtime itch and asked Darrel if I could get a new comforter for our bed since our previous cat made a kitty litter out of my old one (I was sooooo sad when that happened) he said I could the only problem was the comforter I found didn't match our blue walls. While Darrel was at work I got paint and started tearing apart our bedroom. I tried to stall him at work and get him out of the house when he came home so I could surprise him. Needless to say he caught on and said "Don't tell me your painting" I can't tell you how many times I've repainted rooms. Darrel is such a patient and understanding person to let me continuously paint rooms over and over again. In fact I'm smack dab in the middle of painting Kimi's Room (pics to come soon) and I stopped to quickly do our room. But I have to say I absolutely LOVE the turn out. It's my retreat place now. It's the one room in the house the kids will not mess up. (yeah right I know but we'll try) The last pic is from just before winter last year when everything was still green. Darrel took Zarin for a spin on the wiggle he's such a great dad. I found this pic when I was finding the other pics and I just had to share it.

Here's a picture of a new outfit I made for Kimi. She's getting ready to go to dance. I found this fabric at the dollar store it was an over sized ugly t-shirt with a really cute print. I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Fun Music to get you MOVING :)
