Projects, Projects, and more Projects.

Over the past several months... we have just been completing different projects around the house. I found some fabric in the clearance bins at Walmart and made three window coverings all for only $8. Here is how they turned out!

I am sure there will be more pictures to come on this process.... there are a lot of projects we have been working on, and many more to start on. So that is what we are doing.

Kitchen Before & After

Before: The wallpaper was here when we moved in... I just added my John Deere decor.

After: I had took down the wallpaper, textured and painted the wall. I had Dave make me shelf. I really like how everything turned out!

Aunt B's Window.

My sister-in-law was fixing and selling the old doors and windows a few years back, but in trade for some I gave her I wanted one fixed for me. So she got the glass cut, and basically made the frame. I finally got a place for it in our new house, so I came up with an idea to finish it. I painted on Burlap for the top and put our pictures in it. So here it is all finished... I think it turned out good!

Lamp Before and After

Here is a project I just did for our house. I got this old lamp from my Mom, and with a little bit of fixing up it is good as new.

Mmm, Good!

Nothing better than fresh asparagus for dinner. The really long piece we found along our back fence...Yay! We are hoping we can water and get some growing really good back there. The rest we went and picked from our old yard.

John Deere Kitchen

Last weekend we finally moved into our house...yeah! My parents and sister Jill came to help, and I am really glad they did. Well we are moved in, but not unpacked. I am slowly getting things put together. My kitchen is pretty much all done, we even got my decorations up. I think it turned out really good!!
