Summer Lovin'

So it's been a while. Sorry folks. Since my last post on this site, we have added a second son to our little clan! Born the middle of April, we have had a fun time adjusting to two. These little men fill our lives with so much joy. We've had a couple bouts of sickness from everyone, but the sun is shining and we've all got smile. Plus, Dave started a new job this month and is loving it. We miss having him around all the time, but it's definitely worth it!:)

We've been enjoying the sunshine! And the park
Oh how I love these three!
Sweet brothers...
Catching some waves...
Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine and summertime as much as we are!

In like a lamb...

After a quick trip to Las Vegas (highlight being a visit to the LDS Temple there), we are really looking forward to Spring! It was nice to be outside without coats and gloves...

Our little man got a haircut after a few too many crazy hair days- but the crazy faces remain... how we love this kid!
Despite the still-too-cold temperatures, we have taken a few trips to some local parks...

Merry Christmas!!

I can think of nothing more wonderful than Christmas and the adjoining festivities with my family!! Here are some highlights so far!

David helping me with our Gingerbread House!

The finished product- the little man just wanted to eat it really.
He knows a good thing when he sees one!:)

Decorating! I'm very proud of my above-the-cabinets arrangement. Perfect way to add festivity and incorporate intense child-proofing at once! Our presents to and from us are in the right corner and our glass Christmas village is on the far left side, with randomness and holly in the middle! Yea for Christmas!

Oh how I love our Christmas tree! And our guy does, too. He loves to have the lights on and is very careful with it. We'll see if we're so lucky next year.:)

David built us a snowman in our back yard!! He must really love me!!:)

From our family to yours, may this holiday season be the best one yet:
full of joy, family, friends, and peace!

We're Back!

So I lost access to this blog due to craziness of my life and lack of memory to remember how to use it! I am not sure if anyone ever even looks here, but I wanted to keep it updated now that I have figured out how to get in here again! We have another updated blog that is private. If you want access, just e-mail me at stacicox@hotmail.com and I will add you to my list. Otherwise, you can just stay updated with our not-so-private blog here!:)

Since I last posted here, Dave and I got hitched. We both graduated from college, moved to Salt Lake, Dave started a new job, we had a baby, moved again to South Davis County, got pregnant with number two, Dave started grad school at the U, and I started nannying two full days + two mornings a week. INSANITY! It feels like the majority of those things happened in spurts. Which they really did, acutally. The first four within three weeks of each other and the last three within a different three weeks. But we love it!

More will follow, but for now my little man is waking up- Motherhood is calling!:)

Directions to Cox Residence

Here is a map to the Cox Residence (483 N Angel St, Kaysville, UT):

Directions: From I-15, take exit 328 (Kaysville) and head west for approximately1.5 miles. Turn right (North) on Angel Street (the first and only stop sign you will hit). The Cox residence is on the left hand side of the road after .5 miles. There will be signs navigating you to the parking area.

Boise River

We love going on walks along the river... Dave was a little self-conscious because in the picture that we took right before this photo and I was standing on a rock, so I looked taller than him. So here is one with him on the rock!:)

Long Distance

This is on Friendship Bridge across the Boise River. Doing the long distance relationship thing has been no fun, but we make it work. Between Boise and Logan/Kaysville, we spend lots of time on the road, but it's well worth it.:)

Manhattan Temple

While in Manhattan, we went to the temple there...

Times Square

November 2005

We met in Twin Falls one day and explored the surroundings... This is Shoshone Falls that is a little bit lacking as far as the water goes, but it was still a beautiful sight.

Fall 2005

This is the two of us in Boise at a park. The long-distance relationship was not fun, but it makes being together even more special!

This is Us!

We are both big Red Sox Fans!! We met at Fenway Park- they beat the Anaheim Angels! GO SOX!!!
