Days of our Price

The past few months have really been rough for me. Nothing major but stuff that was stressful and hard for me to deal with. Still worrying about having a baby, worrying about others, wanting Paul to find a job he loves and finish school all at the same time. Still neck issues, then rib issues, ugh I could go on and on (and often do)...But this weekend I just felt blessed. I just needed a small ray of light and I got it.

First I qualified to win a trip to Disneyland. This was on Friday.

Then I won tickets to see the new Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Well it turned out just to be 4 movie tickets to anything. Even better since I'm not a big fan. I'm thinkin we'll take the fam to see Cars 2 when it comes out. Or maybe 2 date nights. Who knows?

Then I got a $90 check in the mail for the amt over in our escrow account. It was spent in a matter or an hour. We bought shoes for the family and some shirts. Stuff we rarely buy:) The funny thing is, I specifically bought the shoes I did because they would be great for Disneyland. I really put a lot of positive karma in the air. I was going to win this trip!!!

Low and behold I got a call at 7:07 this morning. I was told that I WON!!!! A trip for 4 with airfare, staying at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, and 3 day park hopper passes. Finally I have something to look forward to! Hudson jumped up and down and thought we were going today! I can't believe I actually won twice in a lifetime. We took this same trip 6 years ago. I just feel like I'm being watched over and just needed an extra boost of happiness.

Oh happy day!!!

Ugh! Not sure what has happened to my blogging lately. I'm still here. Still dealing with life and busy with the day to day stuff. Here is one thing I have been up to. We went out of town for Easter to see some wonderful friends in Boise. Oh what fun we had!! A lot of talking, watching reality tv (and some sports for the guys), watching you tube videos, eating out, and lots and lots of laughing!
