So one time, I had this blog and I used to post on it TONS! You know, like "Follow the Prophet" and keep a journal stuff. Well I have been SERIOUSLY slacking! I have looked over the last few years and I am so disappointed in myself. All those moments that will not be recorded will now be forgotten. All the cute little things that my children say/do, all the NAUGHTY things that MOST of them do.... gone by the wayside.
Blogging is just not what it used to be. In general. And for me. There is only one thing to blame.
FACEBOOK
NO. Its true. With FB, there is such an immediate feedback loop. Not that there isn't with blogging, but you know what I mean.
Well I am making a personal committment to change the way I blog, that only means that I am GOING to blog. Because this isn't about a popularity contest, although I do love to feel popular :), this is about ME. Recording the moments in my children's lives, so that one day I can make a book (I should start doing this yearly, if we are being honest....). So here is to better days on the "BLOG".

Friends
I am grateful for friends. Friends who go shopping with you way past your bedtime when u look really ugly and should NOT leave your house but then when you try on a dress they tell you that you look beautiful.
I am grateful for friends that run, bike, and swim with me. They are the ones that keep me sane. They are my therapy.
I am grateful for family members who are friends. Cousins aunts sisters sister in laws brothers uncles brothers in law husband (only one) moms and dads (inlaws are the "s"). They do t pass judgment they love me for who I am (like it or not ;)).
Grateful for my angel friends, those who have walked the path of grief with me.
Day 5, I am grateful for my friends.

Sundays
I am grateful that I was able to take some time out today to make dinner with my girls. They love I help me cook, especially Isabella. Maybe it's because she is the most bossy or opinionated one of the bunch... But anyway. We made whole wheat rolls, two kinds of pies, and they helped me sauté the roast and put it in the crockpot.
Oh I guess this would also make me grateful for crockpots because all I have to do is put dinner in and BAM! It's cooked.
I would say that I'm grateful for Sundays but lets be honest, it is my most stressful day. Doug is gone to meetings a better part of the day and I get to get 4 girls ready (showered, dressed, hair done), feed said children including breast feeding one (because she spits ALL of her food at me) and then I get to wrestle 4 very active Children through most of the meetings (luckily my mom comes and gets Scarlett and puts her down for a nap, or just let's her play ;)) by myself. It's a little bit awesome.... Kind of kind of not.

I became a mother 11 years ago on this years November 1, 2012. I can hardly believe that my savannah is so old. Does that make me old? No just more mature... Or something. So l. Day one I am grateful to be a mother.

I am grateful for an awesome mother who is extremely selfless in all that she does. She even took us all to time out for women and it was a blast. My mom is a great example hard worker favorite aunt grandma mom friend sister!! If you know her you are truly lucky. Day 2, I am eternally grateful for my mom

I am grateful for the body God gave me, even if it shows I have eaten too many cookies and possible too much ice cream (at said tofw).... But I ran 9 miles tonight so hopefully that Counter acted some of that.... So overall I am grateful that I can run 9 miles and not DIE!!! But tomorrow may be a different story.
