Everyone that we know tells us we need a blog so we finally decided to keep up with the Jones's and create a blog!!
We just recently added little Karter to the family, he was born on January 14Th. It has been a fun change. Kannon loves his little brother to death!! He is always kissing on him and mauling him. We are on constant watch to make sure he doesn't suffocate the little guy.
Kannon just had his second birthday on valentines day. He had a whole week of celebrating his birthday, between both sets of grandparents and us he definitely got spoiled. He has quite the vocabulary going now! Some of his favorite things to say are "Take it easy" from nacho libre, he doesn't refer to Derek as dad he has to call him Derek, and he loves to copy everything Derek says! He wont let us say the blessing on the food anymore, he has to do it every time! Another new thing he likes to do is "toot at you" (like he says) when he is mad at you.
Karter is a chubby little guy! He now weighs 12lbs and is 1 month old. I never have time to do anything because the kid never stops eating! The last couple days we have had to give him breathing treatments every 4 hours to prevent RSV, he is doing much better now and we hope we don't have to do the treatments much longer.
We are all doing good, Derek is about to start school again, and I'm just doing the mom thing! We have decided that we have a pretty boring life outside our kids, because we never get out anymore! Its to much work with two kids!! We hope that everyone is doing okay, and we are excited to keep in touch with everyone!
