"This is my FAVORITE!!"

Yesterday we took Kannon to the zoo and he LOVED it! He kept on saying, "this is my FAVORITE!" There was a monkey that loved him. Every time Kannon would move the monkey would follow him. He wanted Kannon to get on his back. There are tons of pics. not much to explain, we had a great time!

We had so much fun! Kannon is asking when we get to go back to the zoo.

And last of all........ They came and planted our grass today!!!! I am so excited! Hopefully it will grow fast so we can have a lawn!

Memorial Day Weekend

We had so much fun this weekend! The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed being outside. On Friday night we went up to Derek's parent's cabin and went fishing Saturday morning. There were so many people on Henry's Lake, but we still had a blast.

The fish were spawning and Kannon thought it was pretty cool to watch them swim up this little ditch.

Kannon is a true Oswald!! He will fish for hours!

On Monday we went down to my parents house. Derek has been nominated to build the grandkids a play house / swingset. He got a good start on it but it's going to be a while before it's finished!

Kannon had so much fun just playin outside. We took him down to the neighbors and their cat had kittens two weeks ago. Kannon loved this little kitten.

Kannon is missing his puppy Jack. He is staying down at my parents house while we are getting our yard put in.

Kannon was getting a little impateint waiting for the slide to get put on so we put it on the back of the 4 wheeler for him and Karter to go down. Karter was obviosly having a BLAST! :)

Karter was such a good sport all day, but he was exhausted by the end and fell asleep on our 4 wheeler ride.

Random Happenings

There are a bunch of different things I wanted to post. We have been going to the nature park a bunch with this nice weather we are having. Kannon loves to go and do all there is to do! Derek has been taking him fishing over there. The fish are tiny but Kannon still has a blast. Kannon also loves to feed the ducks and find the turtles.

Kannon and I usually take a walk once a day when the weather permits. He has to push his stroller just like I do. This time he had to take his baby too.

Kannon has been so scared of Clansy's (my little brother) motorcycle. Today he decided he wanted to go for a ride and loved it.

Happy Mother's Day!

Derek was such a sweet husband to me on this Mother's Day. He got me a bread maker and a jump rope. I have been wanting both of them, the jump rope to exercise, and the bread maker for my lacking bread skills. I also had to speak in sacrament which was not the high-light of my day. We went down to my parents house after church. Here are a few pictures.

My dad got the boys a couple of ponnies. Kannon thinks he is such a cowboy!

We haven't made it to Grandma Oswalds house yet. I forgot my camera so I have to update the blog as we go to each house. :)

Happy EARLY Birthday Derek!

Derek's Birthday is on the 15th, but he got a present that was a little hard to hide. He got a saw that was impossible for me to pack around. He has been wanting this saw for so long, but was told NO WAY!! Much to his suprise he was spoiled and got it anyway. So Happy early Birthday!

Kannon loved the big box that it came in. We told him that it was his new bed, so next thing we knew he was sitting in his "new bed" saying his prayers. :)
